Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel is heading to rehab – on US television.

The former nightclub hostess will appear on the new series of Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew Pinsky.

She will be treated for an addiction to “pills”, producers revealed.

Uchitel, 35, described by network VH1 as an “infamous party planner”, hit the headlines last year after her affair with the married golf ace was exposed.

Uchitel will be joined at the Pasadena Recovery Center in California by Party of Five actor Jeremy London, “world’s first supermodel” Janice Dickinson and 1970s teen heartthrob Leif Garrett, among others.

US movie studio Paramount has hired writers to begin work on a movie of the hit TV show Baywatch, according to reports.

The surf, sand and sex show about a group of lifeguards patrolling a California beach starred Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhof, and was a huge hit worldwide in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Now screenwriters Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka have reportedly been hired by Paramount to write the screenplay for the studio’s feature adaptation of Baywatch.

Insiders claim that the Baywatch adaptation will be like the big-screen revamps of Charlie’s Angels – an indication perhaps that female-driven action may also be on the menu.

There is no word yet whether Anderson will be donning her orange swimsuit once more, or if Hasselhoff will be starring in the new movie version.

Her famous curves may have been the key to her success but ex-Baywatch babe Carmen Electra has revealed she regrets having breast implants.

The glamour model, actress and TV personality says she wishes she hadn’t meddled with her natural assets, which she boosted from a 32B to a DD cup, according to Contactmusic.com.

The 37-year-old brunette said: “I had breast surgery over 10 years ago, taking me from a 32B to DD, which took a bit of time to get used to.

“I didn’t want to go as big as that. It’s nice that I don’t have to wear a push-up bra any more, but I could have left myself alone.”

Carmen also revealed some of her beauty secrets – her top tip for smouldering eyes being huge fake lashes.

She added: “I love using fake lashes when I’m on stage to create a dramatic look.”

The former Pussycat Doll also recently decided to thin out her hair extensions after deciding her locks had too much volume. “I get my hair extensions done professionally, but when I was in Greece recently for a photo shoot, they looked too much so I got a hairdresser to give me thinner ones. Now they look very natural.”

Jesse Metcalfe got so aroused during sex scenes with his Desperate Housewives co-star Eva Longoria that he was too embarrassed to get out of bed, he has joked.

The screen hunk admitted he got aroused when he rehearsed sex scenes for the show.

Asked on US radio how he stopped himself getting overly excited and “popping a wheelie”, he revealed: “It happens. It doesn’t happen that frequently because there are a lot of people on set, and it can be very technical, but it happens from time to time.”

Jesse, 30, who played teenage gardener John Rowland on the show, was then asked if he ever found himself aroused with Longoria.

He said: “Yeah! As a matter of fact, in the first scene we ever had, where Gabriella and John first had sex, we were rehearsing and then the director was like, ‘OK, get out of bed, we have to reset the set’, and I was like, ‘I need a minute.’”

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt want back into the I’m a Celebrity jungle.

The newlywed stars of The Hills walked off the Costa Rica-based reality TV show but have begged for a second chance.

“We realised we made a big mistake and that the devil got to us and said ‘Get out of the jungle,’” Heidi Montag told British TV host Myleene Klass. “We realise that it is about the charities and about the experience here and we really took it for granted. We want to beg America and win them back.”

The couple have to spend a night in a shack full of creepy crawlies before the remaining cast can allow them back.

Spencer said: “It took us to get out of the situation to realise that we had lost our minds. They should have brought in a straightjacket night one on me … I looked at the whole experience selfishly, I am here for good.”

Earlier in the show, veteran supermodel Janice Dickinson was reduced to tears after former professional basketball player John Salley exploded in foul-mouthed rage after she refused to let him borrow her shampoo. Salley stands 2.1 metres and is shaven headed.

Dickinson sobbed, saying: “I would rather go and work with the homeless or the charities than be spoken to like that.”

Salley then went dewy-eyed as Dickinson refused to accept his apology.
