Cheryl Cole is set to appear on the BBC’s ‘Friday Night with Jonathan Ross’ on March 12 and despite the fact that she was booked on the talk show before her husband Ashley’s multiple affairs were exposed and she filed for separation, I doubt that the Girls Aloud singer will be biting her tongue about the situation. I can’t wait to hear what she has to say. Cheryl also gained a friend in Simon Cowell while she deals with the very public break up. His spokesman Max Clifford said “It’s going to be very, very difficult for her to find privacy but if anyone can help her to do that it will be Simon Cowell while he’s out there in America and while she’s out there in America.”

Simon Cowell says he’s not ready to settle down and have kids – but might get himself a pet squirrel.

The American Idol judge met girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy, a celebrity make-up artist, while working on the reality competition.

The pair have been photographed together several times, and both seem very cosy in the relationship.

But when Cowell was asked – awkwardly – by former girlfriend and US TV presenter Terri Seymour if he is ready to settle down in his new relationship after leaving American Idol, the acid-tongued judge kept mum.

He said: “I’m thinking about getting a pet. A squirrel… ha ha ha ha!”

It is strange how such realities come to life. The fact of the matter is that Cheryl Cole was apparently asked which fellow X Factor judge she would kiss and she answered it would have to be Danii Minogue. Cheryl Cole’s exact answer was: “I’d have to snog Dannii. I’d kind of like to avoid the other two.” The other two are Simon Cowell, now there’s a very unpopular choice and Louis Walsh, yet another not so popular choice. Who comes up with these questions and why does Cheryl Cole feel the need to answer them? Whatever happened to the “no comment” policy?

The American Idol judge recently took the last step in her relationship with contractor Mike McCuddy. This all happened on the fourth of July… talk about picking an epic date for an epic ceremony. However, it seems that the ceremony was not as epic as you would expect since only thirty people witnessed it. Still, it’s apparently a big year for Kara DioGuardi what with her songs being recorded by countless artists, getting on the American Idol judging panel and getting married… quite the eventful year. And it’s far from over. Simon Cowell seems to have manipulated the planets well.

Cheryl Cole has dazzled in a creamy nude-style party dress with cut-out front at her 26th birthday bash at Vanilla.

Cole invited fellow X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue to the party, fulfilling the forecast of fellow judge on the show Simon Cowell. He has recently said there is an olive branch between the pair and predicted they would heal their past rivalry.

Minogue looked stylish in a smoky satin asymmetrical dress with oversized frill and a blue belt with matching large ring. She carried a gold-hued clutch.

Cole’s stunning dress was the creation of Alexander McQueen and priced at £4,000. She paired the outfit with skin-coloured £495 Christian Louboutin sling-back heels.

Cowell appeared at the party, cigarette in hand, with ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour. Also in attendance was Cole’s footballer husband Ashley Cole, her mother Joan Callaghan, and Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts. Other guests included Emma Bunton and Holly Willoughby.

Cowell is said to be thinking of launching his own venture, with Cole as its new face. Other reports say he is offering her £100,000 to sign on for the next series.

US I’m A Celebrity host Myleene Klass said she was “terrified” her baby daughter would ruin Simon Cowell’s $30m mansion when she visited him.

Klass, 31, took daughter Ava to Cowell’s home in Beverly Hills and said she was scared the tot would make a mess.

She said: “His whole place is flawless and white. I was terrified Ava would get hold of a crayon and destroy it.”

However, the 22-month-old was spoilt by Cowell, 49, and Klass said: “He’s so naughty. He kept insisting on feeding Ava biscuits and meringue.”

There’s a rumor going around that Victoria Beckham will be returning to England to be a judge on The X Factor. Simon Cowell is apparently offering Posh around $1.5 million. Posh is hoping that it will kick start her almost non-existent career and also allow her to be closer to hubby David Beckham who’s been on loan to Milan. Having her on the show would certainly draw viewers, especially after judge, Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, dissed Posh’s style. Simon’s spokesman said that Simon “speaks very highly of Victoria” but remained silent on whether or not any sort of judging deal is in the works.
