Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey has confirmed Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s real-life relationship and said he fears them splitting up.

Previously, the young stars’ off-screen romance has been the subject of widespread media speculation and they have never spoken publicly about whether they are an item.

“The thing I do think about is, Oh my God, I hope they stay together. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It’s like, wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together,” Godfrey told Time.

On the international press coverage of Stewart’s and Pattinson’s relationship, the film-maker pondered: “Do people still report on it? If you look at people who have a stable personal life, the rags get tired of them. I think we’re heading to that place where they are together and that’s their life and we better find someone new to create drama out of.”

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has revealed that he and co-star Robert Pattinson would often dissolve into fits of laughter during filming – when they should have been shouting at each other instead.

Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the hit vampire series, also admitted the pair would often accidentally spit at each other during their on-screen rows.

The actor told People.com: “We’re always like an inch away from each other’s faces, screaming at each other, spitting at each other in the face.

“It gets a little awkward. Robert didn’t have to duck, there was not anything super-dramatic, but I’m sure he caught a couple splats.”

Lautner also told the celebrity news website that as they are good pals in real life, shouting at each other didn’t come naturally to them – which led them to laugh through their takes on set.

He added: “Rob and I ruin a lot of takes. It’s hard to keep a straight face because we actually like each other.

“So, it’s pretty funny.”

The Twilight wolves are lacking genitalia, Robert Pattinson has revealed.

The animals’ genitalia did not get past watchdogs responsible for censoring the vampire films.

“If you look at the wolves, if you look carefully, it’s a little Easter Egg in the film,” he told US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel.

“The sensors wouldn’t actually allow the wolves to have genitalia. It wouldn’t be a PG13 if the CGI wolves had genitalia. They’re like the action figures. There’s just nothing there.”

Asked whether Taylor Lautner has a contract which demands he take his clothes off at every opportunity, Pattinson laughed.

“Whenever there’s a scene where he has his clothes on, I suggest he takes them off, otherwise I don’t understand what’s going on,” he joked.

The key to Twilight’s success is that it’s sexy … without the sex, according to star Robert Pattinson.

The British heart-throb, who plays Edward Cullen in the saga, said the trick is to capture the point leading up to the act to get viewers hooked, rather than the sex itself.

In an interview with Nightline, the 24-year-old said: “[Fans] like that moment before [sex] … the kind of tipping point before it goes over.

“I mean, everybody likes that. That’s the best part, for a relationship.”

And with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s characters set to get even closer in Eclipse – which hits cinemas on June 30 – fans can expect more of that addictive “will-they, won’t they” chemistry than ever.

“If there was a hard and fast decision by both [Bella and Edward] saying, ‘Yeah we’re going to remain virgins our entire lives, it’s never going to happen,’ I don’t think it would be as popular a series,” Pattinson said.

Twilight lovebirds Bella and Edward curl up in bed together in the third installment of the hit movie saga.

The couple struggle with the idea of Bella becoming a vampire, as she debates what to tell her family about the transformation.

“I have to figure out what to tell people – what I’m doing for Christmas and stuff, why I’m not visiting, why they’ll never see me again,” she says. An ever-practical Edward replies: “After a few decades, everyone you know will be dead. That’s the problem solved.”

The new scene from Eclipse is featured on the DVD version of the second Twilight film, New Moon, which was released at the weekend.

Edward, played by Robert Pattinson, hints to Bella, Kristen Stewart, that he is unsure about turning her into a vampire.

“I know the consequences of this choice you’re making. I’ve lived through it,” he explains. “You believe I have a soul and I don’t. But to risk yours, just for the sake of never having to lose you? That’s the most selfish thing I’ll ever do.”

Johnny Depp has topped GQ’s 25 Most Stylish Men in the World list, beating David Beckham, Russell Brand, Pete Doherty and five other Brits to the title.

The 46-year-old actor – who appears on the front cover of the February issue – was praised for de-mystifying “the icon of eccentric cool”.

“Johnny Depp’s a unicorn – a really glamorous, one-of-a-kind eccentric,” says Simon Doonan, the creative director of US store Barney’s.

UK-born Doonan adds: “He doesn’t shy away from colour. He’s always peeking through his amazing hair. It doesn’t matter if Johnny Depp’s lying in a ditch – he’s always going to look incredible.”

Russell Brand, 34, is one of eight Brits celebrated in the US edition of GQ.

He joins David Beckham, actors Jude Law, Robert Pattinson and Daniel Day-Lewis.

Rockers Pete Doherty, former Clash bassist Paul Simonon and Talking Heads frontman David Byrne make it eight.

New Moon stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are reportedly being asked to take part in George Clooney’s telethon to raise money for Haiti.

The Caribbean country was recently devastated by an earthquake measuring a magnitude of 7, and 50,000 people are thought to have been killed.

Clooney, 48, is hosting a telethon to raise funds for the people and it is claimed he wants New Moon stars Pattinson, 23, Stewart, 19, and Taylor Lautner, 17, to get involved.

It is not known if the actors are available to take part, but a source said: “She’d jump at the chance to do something to help.”

Kristen Stewart’s character in Twilight, Bella, flies in the face of dating lore: she runs after her man after he has dumped her. Stewart, however, thinks she is the perfect example for girls.

When Stewart, who is linked to co-star Robert Pattinson, was asked if Bella’s actions set a bad example for the 13-year-old girls who flock to Twilight movies, she said: “Be extreme. Go for it. I think that’s the point. I know that this is a movie about immortality and mortality but, like, you live once.”

Twilight fever is sweeping capital cities, with the premiere of the second latest installment, New Moon.

Of Bella, Stewart added: “She has a lot of really innate female qualities. For a character in literature, I think it’s awesome that so many girls can look up to her, because she’s fickle and unabashedly [so].”

Sharon Osbourne has admitted she would get arrested if she revealed what she would like to do to Twilight hunk, Robert Pattinson.

The America’s Got Talent judge confessed she has a huge crush on the 23-year-old English star.

And she revealed that she wants to lick David Beckham because she fancies him so much.

Sharon, 56, played a game on US TV where she was shown photos of various stars and told to say the first thing that came into her mind.

When shown a picture of soccer star Beckham, she kissed it and said: “I want to lick him.

“Lick, lick, lick. He’s adorable.”

Then when she was handed an image of Robert Pattinson, she clutched it to her breast and admitted: “I think I could get arrested if I said what I wanted to do with him, what’s really on my mind.”

She also had praise for Lady GaGa.

She told American television’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show: “I do like her. “[She's] strange, but I like her. I love Poker Face.

“She’s a breath of fresh air for the industry right now.”

The Twilight star is fascinated by “completely letting something take over”.

She said: “Vampires are sexy because they are meant to draw you in to the point where they have you in a complete state of submission.

“So that’s sexy a little bit – to give yourself to something; to completely let something take over.”

The 19-year-old star added: “It’s forbidden fruit, something you can’t have but just want more.”

Stewart is rumoured to be dating her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, 23, who plays the lead vampire in the film series, but has denied all speculation that the pair are romancing.

The second film in the Twilight series, New Moon, hits cinemas on November 20.

Women of the world, rejoice! Actors Robert Pattinson and Hugh Jackman are teaming up for a hunk-tastic new film.

In a dream match-up, the 23-year-old teen-favourite star of Twilight and the 39-year-old “sexiest man alive” have signed up for Unbound Captives.

The period film, also starring Rachel Weisz, revolves around a woman whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped by a Native-American tribe.

Pattinson will play her son, while Jackman will play a frontiersman who tries to save the day.

The film was written by actress Madeleine Stowe, who is set to direct it, in what will be her debut behind the camera.

“Robert said yes last autumn, before everything broke with Twilight. Hugh said yes a couple of weeks ago,” she told Variety.com.

The production is set to begin by the end of the year.
