The film will see Liu making her directorial debut and will be set in Mumbai and feature Tannishtha Chatterjee, who appeared in the movie adaptation of book Brick Lane.

Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed said in a statement that he welcomed the move but added that film-makers should focus on the other things that India has to offer and not just human trafficking, poverty and crime.

Cuba Gooding Jr, lauded for his star turn in Jerry Maguire, is being sought for a movie role to play fallen golf hero Tiger Woods, according to a UK report.

Gooding played the taciturn Rod Tidwell alongside Tom Cruise’s unforgettable Jerry in the movie about a footballer desperately seeking stardom. A Hollywood producer said: “It [the proposed film] makes a great movie because people love the drama of seeing someone really successful fall from the top and then scramble to pick up the pieces of their life.”

Woods’ life has become the stuff of high drama amid revelations and allegations of his multiple affairs while married to Elin Nordegren. She is believed to be looking toward divorce in the new year.

The golfer’s billion-dollar career appears to be in hiatus after he announced he was taking a break from the sport to sort out his personal life.

She said: “Amanda was not excited about having to do it, but I went for it. Clearly, I can’t argue that it’s not gratuitous, because it is.”

She added: “There’s no music – it’s just silence and the sound of spit. I feel weird watching it. It was just really uncomfortable. I felt like I was witnessing something I’m not meant to see.”

“And then one year I was Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman year was pretty exciting. I had a cool costume.”

While Heather said she would like to work with Boogie Nights director Paul Thomas Anderson again, she doesn’t think a sequel will happen.

Megan Fox’s horror at lesbian kiss scene

Megan Fox has told of her embarrassment at having to snog co-star Amanda Seyfried in front of the crew of their new movie.

The Transformers hottie said neither she or Seyfried wanted to do the scene in horror flick, Jennifer’s Body, in which they share a steamy same-sex kiss.

And she said it was made even worse because she had to do it in a room full of male technicians.

She said: “It’s really, really awkward.

“Any time you do a kissing scene or a love scene it’s awkward but especially in that one because neither one of us wanted to be doing it and we were both terrified.

“But when you do scenes like that, it’s not at all sexy or sensual.

“You’re in a room and it’s full of these middle-aged crew guys who are eating their sunflower seeds waiting for you to get it right so that they can go home to their kids.”

Megan, 23, added: “They don’t even want to be there.”

Madonna Auctions Intimates

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Rock & Roll Pop Art Auction is set to auction off a collection of personal and private memorabilia from Madonna. And by personal and private, I mean personal and private. There’s some pretty interesting stuff on that auction block, let me tell you. Among the personal stuff up for grabs are love letters that the Queen of Pop wrote to ex-boyfriend James Albright, and a never-before-seen video tape of an extended scene from her movie ‘Dangerous Game’. The scene is where “Madonna appears to snort cocaine, inhale nitrous oxide and expose her breasts while allowing Russo to snort cocaine off her body.” The seller remains unknown but considering that the love letters are addressed to James and that there are also 2 microcassette tapes of answering machine messages left to James, I have a solid guess as to who the supplier is.

Sienna Miller admits she doesn’t have box-office credibility

GI Joe star Sienna Miller has admitted she doesn’t have box-office credibility.

In a frank new interview, the actress reveals she is excited that she has finally made a movie that fans will get to see.

Miller is often in the news over her high-profile romances, her latest with Balthazar Getty.

But her movie career has been more low-key as she has starred in a number of low-budget and indie movies including Layer Cake, Factory Girl and Interview.

Now, she is all set to burst into mainstream Hollywood with the summer blockbuster GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra, alongside Dennis Quaid and Channing Tatum.

Miller said: “It’s really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies!

“If you want to make amazing, artistic films, you’ve got to have some sort of box-office credibility, which I don’t have.”

However, Miller remains a favourite among paparazzi and while recently filming the 1960s period piece Hippie Hippie Shake, the actress had to strip down for a skinny-dipping scene and a photographer snapped a shot of her nude.

She added: “Me, full-frontal naked. I don’t want to be naked on the cover of a Sunday newspaper! I don’t! I don’t want people analysing the shape of my muff!”

Even Jessica Biel dancing topless cannot save her new movie

Monday, April 27th, 2009

SPL58064_018

Even the sight of Jessica Biel dancing topless has not saved the actress’s latest movie going straight to DVD.

Justin Timberlake’s girlfriend has had a run of bad luck with her movies, but many thought her raunchy star-turn as a stripper in Powder Blue would change it.

But not even scenes of Biel dancing topless in the movie, co-starring Ray Liotta, Kris Kristofferson, Forest Whitaker and Lisa Kudrow, could get it into cinemas.

Biel and co have been told their movie will instead go straight to DVD in June.

Biel’s fans will have to wait a few months to see her in Nailed, in which she plays a waitress whose brain is accidentally punctured by a nail gun, resulting in weird, lusty behaviour with DC lawmaker Jake Gyllenhaal.

Star Trek boldly going where no man has gone before with sexy new storyline

Monday, April 27th, 2009

The new Star Trek movie is ’set to raise eyebrows’ with its sexy new plot line.

New Dr Spock, Zachary Quinto, admits it is a ‘huge gamble’ to see him embark on a romantic relationship with Uhura, played by sexy actress Zoe Saldana in the blockbuster.

The sultry relationship between Spock and Uhura in the remake, directed by JJ Abrams, will have some Star Trek fans ;raising their eyebrows’ admits Quinto but he insists it’s worth the risk.

Quinto said: "When I read that in the script, I must admit that I felt JJ Abrams was taking a huge gamble and that it was a very bold thing to try.

"But the way it is done allows Spock to convey emotion as that is something he cannot express himself and is conflicted with. For him to have a relationship with Uhura is actually a natural thing for them to do in the context of the story."

Quinto’s co-star Saldana admits to having misgivings when it was told to her for the first time.

She revealed: "At first, I thought JJ Abrams was out of his mind but their relationship comes from a deeper place. She is very driven and he is very logical while at the same time, she strives for perfection as the Enterprise’s Communications Officer.

"Spock is the opposite of Captain Kirk, whom she hates, so, she really would be drawn to somebody like that. When Spock calls her by her first name, that is very touching.

"I loved being Uhura because just like the original character played by Nichelle Nichols she is an empowered woman who is not afraid of being sexy, confident and sensitive too."
