George Clooney’s curvy ex-girlfriend Lisa Snowdon is backing a new size 14 fashion show to take a stand against skinny models.

Snowdon, 39, who was a model herself, was unable to do average fashion shoots when she was younger because of her curvy figure and instead had to model for campaigns including Special K and Mercedes.

Snowdon has praised Mark Fast’s new fashion show for creating modelling opportunities for curvier ladies.

She told UK newspaper the Daily Mail: “There were certain lines or seasons that just were not for me. I couldn’t wear them so there were a lot of jobs I could not go for because I am curvy.

“But now I think fashion is changing and Mark’s work is a great step forward. I’m all for the more voluptuous model.”

Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima is being advertised as a stripper by an exotic dancer delivery company in the US.

Hard Bodies Strippers used an old photo of the stunning lingerie model during a Super Bowl-themed advert but allegedly failed to ask permission.

Lima’s advert appeared on Sunday during the game but the image has now been pulled from the company’s website.

A spokesperson for Lima has so far made no comment.

Hollywood hunk Matthew McConaughey has been given a sex-ban by gorgeous girlfriend Camila Alves.

Camila has just given birth to the couple’s second child, three-week-old baby girl, Vida.

And now she has ruled that McConaughey must wait 40 days before making any moves on her.

Camila explained to Stylelist.com: “Where I come from – Brazil – we believe in something we call a 40-day break after the baby.

“You have to let your body do its own thing. You give it time to recover and let everything settle down. You kind of respect all the hard work your body has just done and give it a break. For these 40 days, you really take it easy.

“By that I mean no sex, light, healthy food, no trips to the gym. Then, after 40 days, you are good to go.”

The model admits she is beginning to miss certain things, but the bad news for McConaughey is that it’s not the sex she’s missing the most.

Camila, who also has an 18-month-old son Levi with the actor, added: “I confess, I am getting a little anxious to work out. I miss it. Not just to get my body back in shape, but for me, for my head!”

Miranda Kerr has shown off the body that won the heart of Orlando Bloom – by posing nude on a rug as part of a racy fashion shoot for the US edition of GQ.

The Victoria’s Secret model makes the saucy pose in the February issue of GQ.

The Australian, who is also pictured in a couple of shots wearing saucy underwear, revealed that her hectic supermodel life does not leave her lonely, even though usually she only has her pet dog, a Yorkie, to keep her company.

She said: “I’m lucky. I like my own time.”

Supermodel Naomi Campbell was left shocked after a woman started ’screaming’ at her at a party in Miami.

The 39-year-old was attending a bash at the W hotel when the woman interrupted her chat with a DJ.

A source said: “Naomi and her people were talking to DJ Mike Noveau when some crazy British girl came over, shoved Mike out of the way, and started screaming at her.

“She yelled: ‘How could you do that, you ****?’ She was quickly dragged away. Naomi started walking in the opposite direction and yelled back at her.”

The star’s rep, Alan Edwards, said that she had been following the model for quite some time.

He added that she had hired a bodyguard to look after her on the trip as she is still frightened after Gianni Versace was shot outside his home in Miami in 1997.

Edwards added: “She usually doesn’t travel with a bodyguard. But the police here actually recommended to her that she use one. She didn’t want to take any chances, especially after what happened to Gianni Versace.”

However, she added: “It was only once I was in front of the camera that I would cross the line and become sexy. When I’m on a photoshoot, I’m not shy at all.

“I take my clothes off and strike very sexy poses.”

Shauna Sand is the latest celebrity to be embroiled in a sex tape row.

The former Playboy Playmate is trying to block a hardcore porn tape acquired by Vivid Entertainment featuring her and an ex-boyfriend.

Sand admitted that she did make the tape but is fighting tooth and nail to stop the porn giants from releasing it.

She said: “Yes, I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year. In fact, I’ve made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn’t sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out. I am trying to get a hold of my attorney now.”

However, Vivid boss Steven Hirsch argues that he’s legally entitled to sell the tape, set for release on October 19.

He said: “We were approached by a third party, who brought us footage of Shauna having sex with her current boyfriend and we were immediately interested in acquiring it… We’re comfortable with our legal position in releasing this footage.”

Sand, 38, became Playboy Playmate of the Month for May 1996 after doing a test shoot for Hugh Hefner.

She has also appeared on TV shows such as Charmed and Renegade, as well as comedy movie The Deviants.

TV presenter Myleene Klass has thanked model Twiggy for suggesting she take her daughter to work with her.

Myleene, 31, has a two-year-old daughter Ava and the youngster has travelled to 40 countries. Myleene said that her fellow M&S model Twiggy suggested she take Ava around the world with her when she works abroad.

She said: “Aunty Twiggy was the one who suggested that I bring Ava with me when working abroad.”

Myleene was recently in Costa Rica to host the US version of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

She added: “The great thing with Costa Rica was that when the filming was done, my daughter Ava and I went looking for monkeys and swimming. I’ve just done 80 Days Around The World for the BBC and got to bring her with me.

“She’s done 40 countries and she’s just hit two. I’m busy but why shy away from hard work?

“There’s so much unemployment at the moment I’m really grateful for having a job, especially one where I can bring my daughter to work with me. I’m very fortunate.”

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has said there are “lots of preconceptions” about her but she doesn’t focus on what people think.

Naomi, 39, has joined forces with fellow models Eva Herzigova, 36, and Claudia Schiffer, 39, as the face of D&G’s new fragrances.

Naomi said: “There are lots of preconceptions about me… But I simply cannot focus on what everyone may or may not think.

“I have to be true to myself… My friends will often say: ‘You’re so different from what people may think.’

“We all have different sides to our personalities and some aren’t always revealed on the surface.”

Model Claudia Schiffer has said she is “finished with the runway” but isn’t giving up modelling just yet.

Claudia, 39, has graced the catwalks for over 10 years and her career was at its highest during the 1990s.

However, the model recently said: “I’m finished with the runway. I won’t miss it. I am still modelling and I enjoy that a lot but no more runways.”

Claudia admitted that fashion shows are always more enjoyable for the spectator: “I can sit on the side and view the outfits and see all the detail and that suits me fine.

“It’s very enjoyable. I like my new viewpoint.”

Supermodel Eva Herzigova has said being a top model was like being a member of the “rat pack”.

Eva, 36, was born in the Czech Republic and became an international star when she won a beauty contest in Prague at 16.

Talking about the bitchiness of modelling, she said: “It was like a rat pack – not nice – they made me feel like I was a beginner.”

Eva also spoke about her desire for more children as she already has one son, George, with boyfriend Gregorio Marsiaj.

She said: “I’d love two more. I need it because I’m so in love with him [son George].”

Model Heidi Klum is set to release a new book showcasing her body in a series of nude pictures.

The beauty has teamed up with renowned photographer Rankin to create a book, Rankin’s Heidilicious, featuring images that the photographer has shot of Klum over the last seven years.

The 36-year-old said: “It’s very naughty, I’ve been shooting with Rankin for seven years and working with him is fun…

“He always gets me to take my clothes off for some reason. We’ll do some job, and then he’ll say, ‘Why don’t we shoot some more things?’ and I’ll wind up without anything on.”

The cover of the book, which is due to hit bookstores in October, features the model posing in just a pair of socks.

Cindy Crawford has revealed that she has cellulite and she doesn’t care whether ‘bad’ pictures of her wearing a bikini get published.

The 43-year-old supermodel said: “I have cellulite. I admit it.

“But sometimes I just say, ‘Screw it, I am going to wear a bikini.’”

Crawford has been snapped wearing bikinis this summer while holidaying in Italy and France with her husband Rande Gerber and actor George Clooney.

But while the world’s media has mostly celebrated her toned figure, the mum-of-two says she does not care if people spot any flaws.

“I think I look good for my age,” she says. “I am not 25; I am 43.

“That feels like a big pressure, especially when the National Enquirer is dying to get a picture.

“I am so aware that I don’t want to change the way I live because of that kind of attention… You just brace yourself for a bad picture.”

And the 5ft 10in beauty claims that she doesn’t wake up looking like a supermodel.

“I always say even I don’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford! What people see on magazine covers is one moment that was perfect… the light, the hair, the make-up.

“That’s a two-hour process. People get excited that they’re meeting the Cindy Crawford from the Playboy spread 13 years ago, but I am a mother of two now.”

An “overzealous fan” has been ordered to attend an anti-stalking school after being convicted of harassing Tyra Banks.

New York Judge James Burke sentenced Brady Green, 39, to one-year probation for his hounding of the model turned talk-show host.

Green was ordered to stay away from Banks for two years and to attend a stalking-modification program at John Jay College called Project SHARP – short for Stopping Harassment and Relationship Problems.

The Georgia man thought he had a relationship with the outspoken model, and he tried to track her down in January 2008 with repeated phone calls to her show’s offices.

He later got the address and was arrested inside the studio, where he had sneaked in after twice being told to leave.

He was convicted of stalking earlier this year, with Banks as the star witness.

Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller has laughed off claims she has had breast implants – and insists: “I’m 100 per cent natural.”

The busty beauty says she is naturally voluptuous.

But Marisa says she has to hit the gym to stay slim.

She said: “A lot of people believe that because I’m curvy – and blonde – I’ve had a boob job or some other kind of plastic surgery, which isn’t true.

“I’m 100 per cent natural.

“But I have to work hard to stay in shape. There’s no magic pill.

“Believe me, if there was, I’d know about it.”

Married Marisa, 30, landed the number one spot in Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list in 2008.

Gisele Bundchen has again been named the world’s highest-earning model.

The Brazilian-born beauty topped a Forbes.com list for the third year in a row after raking in an estimated $25m.

But despite making millions between June 2008 and June 2009, she made $10m less than the previous year – largely due to the global economic crisis.

Gisele Bundchen, 28, who recently wed US football star Tom Brady, has lucrative campaign deals with a string of fashion firms, including True Religion jeans and Versace. She also has her own successful shoe line.

Heidi Klum was in second place, with $16m, and Kate Moss came third, earning an estimated $8.5m.

Halle Berry says she was accused of stuffing the ballot box… when she was elected high-school prom queen.

And the Oscar-winner says it was because she was the only black girl in her school.

The 42-year-old says she hopes her daughter Nahla won’t face the same prejudice.

She says: “Nahla will grow up in a completely different America.

“[Barack] Obama is someone who’s more like her than not, who shares her history.

“Hopefully, she’ll grow up in a world where it’ll be easier than I had it. I had a rough time.

“I was accused of stuffing the ballot box for my high-school prom queen election because they couldn’t believe the only black girl in the school won.”

The actress made her comments to the US issue of Harper’s Bazaar, as she promotes the release of her new perfume, Halle by Halle Berry.

She says about the fragrance: “I wanted it to smell like fig and mimosa.”

During the interview, Berry shares some of her most intimate secrets.

The actress claims that her boyfriend – Nahla’s father – Gabriel Aubry keeps her youthful, saying: “I have a 33-year-old man. That’ll keep your mojo mojo-ing.”

She also believes that the only thing a woman needs to wear during sex is a tank top and high-heels.

She says: “Oh yes. Any high-heels. You just need to lengthen your legs.”

But the mother-of-one, who hopes to have more babies, is now a homebody whose only guilty pleasures involve buying outfits for her daughter.

“I buy baby clothes online,” she admits.

“Nahla can’t [even] wear all the clothes I’ve bought, because we don’t go anywhere as I can’t deal with the paparazzi.”

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has revealed she is preparing to step down from the catwalk after 25 years.

Naomi, 38, said: “It’ll be 25 years next year! In terms of fashion shows I don’t really see myself doing every show everywhere. There are just too many – 21 in New York, 21 in London, 21 in Milan.”

The world-famous model also revealed having a child is definitely in her future plans.

She added to British magazine Hello!: “I’m a woman and I’d like to be a mother one day.”

Asked if she’s planning to settle down with her billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Doronin, she said: “I live my life one day at a time.”

Model Katie Price said she was “gutted” to turn down a visit to Buckingham Palace as she was out in LA.

The 30-year-old mum claims she was invited to the home of the British monarch but couldn’t go because she was in LA with her family.

She said: “We were invited to lunch at Buckingham Palace, but we couldn’t go because we were in America. I was gutted.”

Katie is a keen horse-rider and said she had an invite from Princess Anne and plans to meet the royal for lunch.

She added to Britain’s love it! magazine: “Even Princess Anne knows how much I love horses and has invited me to her house to watch polo. I’ll definitely go for lunch with her, so my Princess can meet a real-life princess.”
