Bristol Palin’s anguish over pregnancy news

Teen mother Bristol Palin has opened up about how hard she found it breaking the news to her parents that she was pregnant.

“It was extremely difficult; I’ll always compare it to labour. I thought it was harder than labour,” the daughter of former Alaskan Governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin told Fox News.

“I was just thinking they’d be disappointed, then realising I’d have to grow up so fast. It was all extremely difficult. Going from a teen to an adult so quickly has been the most challenging part of motherhood.”

Palin, who was briefly engaged to the baby’s father Levi Johnston, gave birth to son Tripp in 2008.

Discussing the intense media scrutiny she faced after the news became public during the 2008 presidential campaign, Palin said: “I just kept my head held high, I didn’t listen to the TV or read the blogs or anything like that.”

The 19-year-old is now a teen abstinence campaigner.

Jon Gosselin has turned down an offer from Playgirl magazine, according to a US report.

The troubled reality television star was approached with an offer to pose that reportedly was worth $20,000, RadarOnline reports exclusively.

The magazine recently snared Levi Johnston, the ex-lover of Bristol Palin and father of her lovechild, Tripp. But Gosselin, a family man and father of eight, will not be taking Johnston’s lead, the report claims.

“He is not doing it,” a representative for Gosselin confirmed on Thursday. Gosselin starred in Jon & Kate Plus 8 with his ex-wife, Kate.

Levi Johnston would let son pose for Playgirl magazine too

Levi Johnston has said he would let his son Tripp follow in his footsteps and pose for Playgirl magazine when he is old enough.

Johnston, 19, recently posed naked for the women’s magazine and said that if his 11-month-old son wanted to do the same, he would let him.

Johnston said: “Seventeen, no. Eighteen, 19, he’s old enough to make his own decisions. If I’m doing it, I couldn’t tell him not to, I’d be a hypocrite.

“When he’s that age, he’s going to do what he wants to do.”

Asked before the shoot if he was nervous, he said: “I’m not nervous about it. I’m just excited to get it over with.

“I’ve worked hard to do this shoot. I’m just pumped for it.”
