US actress Holly Robinson Peete has said she wished she had read John Mayer’s entire interview before praising him for the article.

The 45-year-old star recently said she was flattered by a comment Mayer, 32, made about her in his recent interview with Playboy magazine.

However, Mayer has been criticised for the interview after using an offensive racial term and discussing his sex life with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson.

She said on her blog: “It’s the biggest no-no of them all and coupled with the White Supremacist ‘privates’ comments it dawns hard on me that by gushing about a compliment by one of my fave artists in this article filled with offenses I look like I am giving him some sort of ‘free pass’ just cause he said I was cute!

“Ugh! The whole picture became so vivid. And it began to scare the mess out of me.”

She added: “I just hate that anyone would have the impression I condone or excuse racist comments in any context. I do not. That notion would not go over too well during Kwanzaa at the Peete house! That’s so not me.”

Keira Knightley has come out in support of mistresses, saying it’s the married man’s fault if he cheats.

The 24-year-old made her comments in the latest edition of US Elle magazine.

Knightley, who appears on the front cover of the magazine, plays one half of a married couple, both of whom are tempted to cheat in the upcoming movie Last Night.

“I haven’t ever been the other woman,” the British actress says. “But I felt sympathy for her in a funny way. “I think it’s quite a sexist view to say that because a guy all of a sudden cheats on a woman, it’s the other woman’s fault. It’s not the guy’s fault?”

When it’s suggested that women should look out for each other, Knightley says: “Oh, f*** off! C’mon. If you’re married, if you’re the guy, it’s your f***ing responsibility.

“It’s your fault if you cheat on her. It’s not some other woman’s fault!”

In the film, Sam Worthington plays Knightley’s husband who is tempted to sleep with Eva Mendes.

“When we were making it, the arguments on the set were just amazing about whether mental infidelity is better or worse than physical infidelity,” Knightley says.

“There was a huge gender divide on the question.

“Every single woman said that mental infidelity is 10 times worse than [an emotionless assignation].

“And most men I spoke with said it’s the physical act that would be the ultimate betrayal.”

George Michael is definitely living up to his reputation of being a total mess as the singer decided to partake in a candid interview with a UK tabloid and had no problem discussing his drug and sex addictions, saying “it’s just who I am”. He also said that he smokes 7 or 8 spliffs a day, cutting back on his 25-a-day habit, but still found it necessary to smoke two joints during the interview. George also discussed his sex life and revealed that Elton John, Bono and Geri Halliwell have all tried to help the troubled pop star get off the bad stuff but that he shuts them down before they get a chance. He said “Elton lives on that. He will not be happy until I bang on his door in the middle of the night saying, ‘Please, please, help me, Elton. Take me to rehab.’ It’s not going to happen. Elton just needs to shut his mouth and get on with his own life.”

In a new radio interview, singer Rihanna revealed that the leak of her nude pictures was “the worst thing that could possibly ever happen” to her. The Barbadian beauty said “I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that and then, when that came out, I thought, ‘oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life. It was humiliating and it was embarrassing – especially my mum having to see that. It was two days before Mother’s Day, so I was nervous. I sent her flowers first before I called and then she texted me – when the world is against me she’s always there supporting. If it’s wrong, she will still let me know but she wouldn’t come down on me like, ‘oh my God, what were you thinking?’”

Joss Stone opened her big mouth again about her marijuana usage and now she has the National Drugs Prevention Alliance all riled up. In a new interview, the singer didn’t hold anything back about how often she smokes weed and whether or not she likes other drugs. She said “I smoke weed, but I don’t think it’s really a drug. It’s more of a herb. I don’t regret saying that at all. I think everyone smokes weed and people who say they don’t are lying! It depends if I’m working, and on what song. And whether it’s a smoking studio or not! It’s like having a drink.” Her comments have upset anti-drug campaigners in Britain and the head of the NDPA said “She should consider the effects that her comments have on other people, especially young fans who look up to her. People like Joss Stone should keep their mouths shut about things like this.” She needs to shut up altogether.

In a recent interview, Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin pretty much dissed the band saying that all the girls are basically replaceable. She also insisted that there will be new music. Robin said “The truth is I have had a lot of different girls in the Pussycat Dolls over the years which many people did not know before the band. I had many reincarnations of the PCD so if a couple of girls want to go out and do something else it is easy for me to find other girls. My trademark motto is behind every woman is a Pussycat Doll; there are many girls that I can bring in. I know that I will make it great, sexy and make everyone feel like a Pussycat Doll. That is the beauty of what I have, a brand that is bigger than all of us.”

Katie Price has revealed she kissed another man, while still married to husband Peter Andre.

Price, who split from the singer nine weeks ago, admitted that she snogged another man during her highly publicised trip to Ibiza this month.

She said: “I’ve kissed someone, that’s it.”

Andre, 36, has made a public vow to remain celibate until the couple’s divorce is finalised, however Price, 31, doesn’t seem prepared to wait that long.

When questioned on whether the incident constituted infidelity, the infamous glamour model denied she had cheated on her husband of three and a half years: “No because we’ve split and everyone knows we are doing our divorce.”

Brighton-born Price added that she had flirted with men during her recent stay on the party isle, where she was pictured skimpily dressed at various nightclubs: “I did in Ibizia,” she continued, “I am a show off, I’m an exhibitionist.”

Both Andre and Price have spoken about the couple’s difficulty to reconcile the mother of three’s conflicting personality traits, specifically her alter ego which saw her shoot to fame as the UK’s most famous glamour model.

“There’ll always be a Jordan side to me,” Price acknowledged.

Katie Price has declared she is “back on the market” and will be married again within 12 months.

Price, who split from husband Peter Andre just nine weeks ago, said: “Once the divorce is over, I could be married next summer.”

She said that she “couldn’t give a s**t about what Pete thinks” and added: “I’m back on the market, boys.”

The glamour model, who didn’t want the marriage to end, said she is now completely over the split and looking forward to dating again.

Price, 31, also revealed that she suffered her second miscarriage only weeks before the end of the couple’s marriage.

After being overjoyed to be expecting another baby, a scan discovered there was no heartbeat and that the baby had died around ten weeks into the pregnancy.

The mum of three said: “I went in thinking, ‘He’s going to be great, he’s going to see a heartbeat.’ And it was on the screen and you know they poke the thing around, he said, ‘No, it’s, it’s died, it’s gone.’”
