New mum Heidi Klum wowed onlookers when she took to the catwalk for the Victoria’s Secret show in New York.

But she departed from the mantra of supermodels of the 90s, nicely summed up in the contentious words of Kate Moss: “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.”

Like many top celebrities, Klum is embracing the curves of motherhood and womanhood, eschewing the pressure to try and slim down from childbirth.

Klum has just given birth to her fourth child, a girl she named Lou, with Seal. She donned a corset for the surprise turn on the catwalk. Her peers were excited enough to learn she could make it as a host – let alone a model.

Klum said: “I’m proud of being the curvy model on the Victoria’s Secret stage.

“I felt great the night of the fashion show and decided last minute to walk. I loved my outfit so I thought, why not?”

Heidi Klum has surprised and delighted guests and colleagues at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show by taking to the catwalk just six weeks after giving birth.

The supermodel was earlier reported to be hosting the event – news that was greeted with joy by her modelling colleagues. She has just had a baby, her third with husband Seal and fourth in total.

Klum was spectacular when she sauntered down the runway, according to a US report.

She smiled as she carefully stepped on to the runway. Earlier this week she commented on the prospect of hosting the show, saying: “You have less pressure. You definitely have less pressure when you don’t shake your booty in front of millions around the world.”

After giving birth to a girl named Lou, she said she had 10kg of baby weight to lose. “I embrace that I have more curves right now. I’m definitely one of the heaviest of the bunch of the 30 girls in the show.”

Leonardo DiCaprio’s autograph is fetching the highest bids among a swathe of star signatures up for grabs in a novel charity for AIDS orphans.

Hot celebs to sign elephant models for Project Zambi include George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Denzel Washington, Glenn Close, Hugh Jackman, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Taylor Swift, Heidi Klum, Jessica Simpson and Naomi Watts. Will Smith’s children, Willow and Jaden, are two of the smaller names.

So far bids for DiCaprio’s elephant are the highest at $400. Ten bids had been made at last count.

The elephants, which are collectible, are available on e-Bay until October 15. Stars can choose a charity that supports children orphaned by AIDS in Africa as destinations for proceeds raised.

Model Heidi Klum is set to release a new book showcasing her body in a series of nude pictures.

The beauty has teamed up with renowned photographer Rankin to create a book, Rankin’s Heidilicious, featuring images that the photographer has shot of Klum over the last seven years.

The 36-year-old said: “It’s very naughty, I’ve been shooting with Rankin for seven years and working with him is fun…

“He always gets me to take my clothes off for some reason. We’ll do some job, and then he’ll say, ‘Why don’t we shoot some more things?’ and I’ll wind up without anything on.”

The cover of the book, which is due to hit bookstores in October, features the model posing in just a pair of socks.

Heidi Klum has reportedly taken another verbal hit from Karl Lagerfeld, who disowns her from the fashion world, it was reported in the UK.

"I don’t know her. Claudia Schiffer doesn’t know her. She was never in Paris, we don’t know her," Britain’s Sun has the German-born designer storming.

In February, Lagerfeld (pictured with Kate Bosworth) reportedly claimed Klum was too top-heavy for the catwalk. His stinging words came as she posed naked on the cover of GQ.

He also got stuck into her husband, Seal, sniping about the pop star’s skin. "I am no dermatologist but I wouldn’t want his skin. Mine looks better than his. He is covered in craters," he reportedly said.

The global financial crisis has hit Gisele Bundchen’s pay packet, with the Brazilian supermodel raking in just $25 million this year – down $10 million from 2008, says Forbes magazine.

Still, it was more than enough for the publication to name her the world’s top-earning model for the third year in a row.

Bundchen, married to NBA football star Tom Brady, models for Versace, Dior, True Religion jeans and Ebel watches.

Heidi Klum finished in second place with $16 million but she earned $2 million more than the previous year. Klum is host on Germany’s Next Top Model and Project Runway and is a model for Victoria’s Secret. She also promotes Diet Coke, Volkswagen and LG.

Kate Moss has kept third place, with $8.5 million, earning $1 million more than the year before.

Completing the top five are Adriana Lima, who last week announced her pregnancy to basketball star Marko Jaric, and Doutzen Kroes. This makes the leaders the same as last year.

Australia’s Miranda Kerr rose from 10th to ninth place this year. She earned $3 million after landing several deals, including Victoria’s Secret.

Gisele Bundchen has again been named the world’s highest-earning model.

The Brazilian-born beauty topped a Forbes.com list for the third year in a row after raking in an estimated $25m.

But despite making millions between June 2008 and June 2009, she made $10m less than the previous year – largely due to the global economic crisis.

Gisele Bundchen, 28, who recently wed US football star Tom Brady, has lucrative campaign deals with a string of fashion firms, including True Religion jeans and Versace. She also has her own successful shoe line.

Heidi Klum was in second place, with $16m, and Kate Moss came third, earning an estimated $8.5m.

Supermodel Heidi Klum and husband Seal have cancelled their annual wedding vow renewals in Mexico – because of the swine flu.

The happy couple usually have an annual tradition of renewing their vows in Costa Careyes, where they originally tied the knot.

But this year because of the swine flu epidemic, the couple have cancelled their trip to Mexico and will instead have the ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.

Their four-year wedding anniversary takes place on May 10th, which also happens to land on Mother’s Day in the US.

So it will be a double celebration for the couple who have two children together as Klum is also pregnant with their third child. She has another child with Flavio Briatore.

A source told Life & Style magazine: “Heidi was worried about border closings and her three small children. And of course, she’s pregnant.”

The couple’s rep confirmed: “Heidi and Seal have decided to renew their vows at home in LA.”

Heidi Klum is supposedly three months into her third pregnancy, as a gossip site reports: “A source tells me that Klum, 35, is a little less than four months pregnant.” It also seems that Heidi Klum will be announcing this pregnancy soon. Seal said he is not even sure if Heidi Klum has even heard of the designer before he criticized her figure. Seal said it smells like a virtual unknown is seeking publicity by using Heidi Klum’s name.

Wolfgang Joop made it to the worldwide fashion news earlier this week when he said Heidi Klum was too heavy and busty for the runway. Wolfgang Joop even went as far as saying that Heidi Klum is not even a top model but an ad girl. Heidi Klum, who is world-famous for her work with the lingerie line Victoria’s Secret, said she does not really care about what Wolfgang Joop thinks and would not even comment on his opinion. Heidi Klum said the business requires everyone to be fit but she tries hard to be not to thin and to remain a good model. Heidi Klum is known for being very passionate about working out her body the healthy way.

Supermodel Heidi Klum who is also popularly known as the other half of singer Seal seems to be very comfortable with her body as she has no qualms going about naked in or outside the household. Klum has been seen in the runway wearing flimsy underwear for Victoria’s Secret but Klum said it is not new to her since she also sashays naked in their household.

There are no family secrets in the Klum-Seal household as attested by Klum who confirmed that no one in her family hides in the closet to change. Everyone does his thing out in the open the way people in Germany have been pretty open with their bodies. She said she stays in shape because she known there is a hot man waiting for her when she gets home. This is probably the reason why after being married for years and after having two children Klum and Seal are still in the honeymoon stage.

Surely the chap or whoever roped her in for this commercial must have received a huge increment in his annual wages.

Frankly the video is a great one but common on Heidi is usually in seen in her underwear in most commercials and on the ramp too she’s always just about covering her bare essentials. Although most or rather all shall agree there are few prettier sites than watch Heidi dressed up so skimpily. Also the way she has danced in the commercial is assuming and entertaining as well.
