Russell Brand kissed a Katy Perry look-a-like… an Aussie girl was wearing a bright blue wig just like the one the California Gurls singer wore at the MTV Movie Awards.

The wig-wearing fan was in the audience at Russell’s latest stand-up gig in front of 7,000 people at Sydney’s Entertainment Centre.

Minutes into the gig, Russ spotted her in the crowd, saying, “I’m interested in that person” and beckoned her over.

When she asked Russell for a kiss, she said she hoped that the blue wig would help seal the deal because it was similar to his fiancée’s.

But Russ replied: “Well, ironically, the opposite is true. Because variety is the spice of life!”

However, it didn’t stop randy Russ from giving the girl a kiss after she flipped up her skirt so he could see and squeeze her bottom. And for good measure, he gave her friend a kiss, too.

Russ is in Australia to perform two stand-up shows and promote his movie, Get Him to the Greek with his American co-star Jonah Hill.

He and Katy are expected to get married later this year.

Simon Cowell says he’s not ready to settle down and have kids – but might get himself a pet squirrel.

The American Idol judge met girlfriend Mezhgan Hussainy, a celebrity make-up artist, while working on the reality competition.

The pair have been photographed together several times, and both seem very cosy in the relationship.

But when Cowell was asked – awkwardly – by former girlfriend and US TV presenter Terri Seymour if he is ready to settle down in his new relationship after leaving American Idol, the acid-tongued judge kept mum.

He said: “I’m thinking about getting a pet. A squirrel… ha ha ha ha!”

The 49-year-old actress from Illinois is best known for her roles in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Best In Show and Two-And-A-Half Men.

She is most recently known for her part as cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the hit Fox show Glee, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination.

Psychologist Embry was in the news last year for winning a landmark same-sex custody lawsuit in Florida and was given the Justice Award by the National Center For Lesbian Rights for her efforts.

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has admitted he is looking for a “weird” girlfriend.

The 20-year-old actor, who plays Ron Weasley in the hit wizard films, said: “I am single. And yes, I suppose I am looking for a girlfriend.”

But normal girls need not apply as Grint then added: “I like weird girls.”

Grint admitted he didn’t enjoy shooting new film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He said: “It was quite weird. It wasn’t that much fun but it’s over now, thank goodness.”

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner has denied rumours he wants to get back with ex-girlfriend Holly Madison.

Reports claimed that Hefner, 83, was pining for Madison, who left the mansion last year along with other girlfriends Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.

He is now dating Crystal Harris and twins Karissa and Kristine Shannon.

Hefner told E! Online: “The notion that I would want her [Holly] back as a girlfriend is bizarre. I am now in one of the best relationships in memory with Crystal Harris and the twins. I’m not going to screw it up with former girlfriends. I would not trade Crystal Harris for anybody else in the world. And then this thing comes out and today is Crystal’s birthday… it’s ridiculous.”
