The Black Crowes lead singer Chris Robinson and his wife Allison Bridges welcomed daughter Cheyenne Genevieve Robinson into the world on December 26! Chris and Allison were married earlier this year and revealed back in September that they were expecting their first child together. Chris has an older son, Ryder, with his ex-wife, actress Kate Hudson. I wonder how he feels about having a little sister to play with. Congratulations to the happy family and I hope that everyone is healthy. I wonder how Kate feels that Chris is settled once again and she’s still flailing around in the singles pool.

Kim Kardashian isn’t sure what Ryan Seacrest is doing in her family Christmas card this year.

The 28-year-old is featured in a family photo with her mum Kris, step-dad Bruce Jenner, sisters Kylie, Kendall, Khloe and Kourtney, brother Rob, brother-in-law Lamar Odom and E! host Ryan Seacrest.

US TV host Chelsea Handler pointed out Seacrest, 32, in the picture and Kardashian said she isn’t sure why he is in the picture, which appears to be a snap from Khloe, 25, and Lamar’s recent wedding day.

Kim said on her blog: “I died laughing when I saw our family Christmas card! I didn’t actually see it until Chelsea Handler showed it to me on Monday night on Chelsea Lately.

“What is Ryan Seacrest doing in the pic!!? Hahaha. I love you to death, Ryan, but it’s a bit of a stretch to call you a member of the Kardashian family, don’t you think?

“I know you’re dying to be a part of the family, so just for this Christmas, we’ll make your wish come true! Haha.”

She added: “If we had just waited a few days, we could have added little Mason to the card too.”

Kim Kardashian is looking forward to becoming an aunt and said it’s the “most exciting new step” in her family’s lives.

The 28-year-old will become an aunt at Christmas when her sister Kourtney, 30, gives birth to a baby boy.

The family has grown in recent months after her younger sister Khloe, 25, got married to LA Lakers star Lamar Odom.

She said: “My whole family’s changed over the course of a few months and, you know, it’s just fun. We have all of these new, fun people in our lives and it just is like a growing family!”

The reality star has a number of different projects she is working on, but she said that she is most looking forward to meeting her new nephew.

She said: “This is just the most exciting new step in our lives, and I think everyone in the family can’t wait for the baby to come!”

Kim added that Kourtney being pregnant is making her broody and wanting a baby.

She said: “You see what my sister’s going through and it’s so much fun, and she’s picking out cribs and high chairs, and I’m getting her little clothes and little shoes and it’s all so cute!”

Bottles of putrid Michael Jackson perfume are reportedly set to go on sale after his death.

It has emerged that dozens of 17-year-old bottles of scent – each featuring a hologram of the star – were left over from Jackson’s failed bid to release his own fragrance in the early ’90s.

The ill-fated attempt, which reportedly left the Thriller star millions out of pocket, was pulled when his 1993 child molestation accusations came to light.

Until then, the project was going full steam ahead, says Florida-based entertainment manager Neil London, who had been asked to produce a TV advertisement to sell the product.

The commercial was finished but never hit the TV screens. “So dangerous, it’s not available in stores,” the voiceover says, in a tribute to Jackson’s album at the time, Dangerous.

“Let Michael Jackson stir your senses like never before, with ‘Mystique de Michael Jackson’ for women and ‘Le Jan de Michael Jackson for men’ – two dangerously seductive scents.”

The limited-edition perfume was to be distributed through direct marketing and an 800 telephone number.

However, the scheme was axed the day before it was due to go live in the summer of 1993, when the scandal emerged about Jackson’s sleepovers with young boys at his Neverland Ranch. A holographic image of Jackson, who died aged 50 on June 25, was on the front of each bottle.

It is understood most of the 400,000 bottles were destroyed but London, who now runs a popular lifestyle website, kept back a few dozen for himself.

Michael Jackson’s father has revealed the family have not yet planned the pop star’s funeral – but that they do want the public involved.

In a bizarre press conference outside the Jackson family home in Los Angeles, Joe Jackson was accompanied by the Reverend Al Sharpton.

The press conference was expected to be held to announce details of Jacko’s funeral or memorial service.

But it began with Rev Sharpton defending Joe Jackson’s appearance at the BET Awards just three days after his son passed away.

Joe continued talking about his record company after Sharpton’s introduction, rambling about Miraz Records before finally turning the talk to his famous son.

Wearing a black shirt and hat, Joe Jackson said: “Hello everybody, I’m here to witness, something that we want you to know.

“I was asked a question last night about the record company, well what I am doing is, I established a record company with Marshall and that company is called Miraz Record.

So we have a lot of good artists to come out. I was asked that question and I answered like it was, but they wanted to know what else I was doing.”

A desperate man told an emergency responder Michael Jackson was unconscious and had stopped breathing in a dramatic 911 call made from the King of Pop’s home.

The unidentified caller told the operator Jackson’s personal doctor – named in reports as Dr Conrad Murray – was on the scene and was the only witness to the incident.

In the tape, released a day after Jackson’s death, the man says: “I need an ambulance as soon as possible. We have a gentleman here who needs help and who is not breathing and we’re trying to pump him but he’s not…

In the call, made at 12.21pm local time on Wednesday, he tells the operator: “Yes, he’s not breathing sir.”

Asked if Jackson was conscious, he replies: “No, he’s not conscious.”

He says Jackson is on a bed and is told to put him on the floor for CPR.

The man says: “We have a personal doctor here with him.”

But he adds: “He’s not responding to anything. He’s not responding to CPR or anything.”

The operator asks if anyone saw what happened to Jackson and the man replies: “No, just the doctor. The doctor’s been the only one here.”

The operator asks: “OK, so did the doctor see what happened?”

The man is then heard asking the doctor: “Did you see what happened?”

There is some background noise before the man urges the operator: “Sir, please, if you can please….”

He tells the operator: “He’s pumping, pumping his chest but he’s not responding to anything.”

The operator reassures him: “OK, we’re on our way.”

Michael Jackson’s family lawyer says the performer’s reliance on painkillers had become “life threatening”.

Brian Oxman fears the medication may have contributed to the 50-year-old’s death from a suspected heart attack.

The lawyer said: “I don’t know if they are the cause here. I will reserve my conclusions until the toxicology reports and the coroner has made his report before I make any accusations. But I can tell you that if it is as I fear I will not be silent.

“I have been very, very critical of the use of pain medications. I have told people in no uncertain terms that if Michael one day woke up and he was dead I would not be silent, I would not permit this to go unchallenged.

“Michael had fallen from a stage several years ago. He cracked a vertebrae in his back. He also broke his leg and it’s caused him a lot of pain. The result of that is he has taken a lot of pain medications. They’ve been to treat actual pains he’s had, but the use of these medications I felt had become life threatening.”
