Eva Mendes demonstrated a secret special effect – by pointing a leaf blower in George Lopez’s face when she recently appeared on Lopez Tonight.

The 35-year-old actress revealed the money-saving technique used in a video by American singer Har Mar Superstar.

Mendes is the latest celebrity to appear in a video teaser ahead of Har Mar Superstar’s fourth album release.

The slow-motion video shows the film star’s face, hair and eyelashes being pushed around in a strong gust of wind.

“Basically, this video was shot for no money,” she told Lopez on his chat show.

“When you have no money – as a lot of us know – you’ve got to get creative.

“To get this cool special effect we basically used a leaf blower.”

Lopez, 48, looked a little shocked after volunteering to be Mendes’ guinea pig.

Sexy star Eva Mendes has revealed she ate watermelon to look slim the day before she had to film a lingerie scene.

Eva, 35, recently starred in flick The Women alongside Meg Ryan, Annette Bening and Debra Messing.

She said: “I had a lingerie scene in The Women. The day before, I was panicking about how to prep body and my friend said: ‘Just eat watermelon’. I literally ate just watermelon all day – people on set thought I was insane.”

She added to the UK edition of InStyle magazine: “In the morning, I have coffee and start getting jittery, and I’m totally wigged out, so they bring me toast, a couple of pancakes and eggs and I scoffed them down. It was a disaster!”

Sexy Hollywood star Eva Mendes has revealed what she loves to do in bed – eat while watching TV.

The gorgeous star says she prefers to snack away with a tray on her lap than indulge in anything else between the sheets.

She told Foxnews.com: “I have so many guilty pleasures! One of them is to eat in bed while watching television.

“It sounds kind of gross, but I absolutely love it. I love to watch my favorite program with my food on a tray on my lap.

“I’ve learned however, that eating Indian may not be such a good thing to have in the bedroom. I’ve made that mistake before, so never again! But I am a huge snacker so you’ll always find me indulging in something.”

Mendes was recently named Magnum’s Global Pleasure Ambassador and spent last week in Istanbul to launch the world’s largest survey on pleasure and the Hitch actress claims she is perfect for the job because she loves chocolate so much.

She added: “I love chocolate! I like chocolate like no-one else and I love indulging. In fact, I am all about pleasure. I am the girl who will get three massages a week – that’s my luxury and that’s where I spend most of my money.

“I’m not a big shopper, but I love facials and spas and everything indulgent when it comes to the body and pampering. I am a girly girl at heart.”

But despite all the snacking in bed and eating chocolate, Mendes still has one of the most enviable bodies in Hollywod, which she attributes to working out five says a week.

She revealed: “Don’t hate me because seriously, I work out almost everyday – at least five days a week.

“I put in a lot of time at the gym to ensure that I am able to indulge at other times. Pleasure is pain.”

Sexy star Eva Mendes has admitted she is a secret “hippy” at heart and is a “big fan” of Brit band Oasis.

Eva, 35, was asked what she likes to do when she has time off and she replied: “I’m a hippy. I have a lot of friends who are musicians and I listen to them play.”

She added to Britain’s OK! magazine: “I’m a rock ‘n’ roll girl at heart, I love going to gigs and I’m a big fan of Oasis. I love Britpop.”

The actress has often been voted the sexiest star but she admits she “might think about” cosmetic surgery when she’s older.

Eva said: “I think that people should do whatever makes them happy.

“Perhaps when I’m 60, I might think about it and perhaps I would, but I don’t think I need to worry about it yet.”

Eva Mendes is really happy for herself that once she became a famous actress she was already an adult. She expressed such thoughts saying that most other actresses are too young when they become famous celebrities and are not well equipped to handle it.

She said: “There are a lot of lost little souls in Hollywood – a lot of young women who have so much, who come into fame and fortune when they are young, and it’s very difficult to handle that. I just thank my lucky stars for being an adult before being an actress.”

What I think guys is that this is the very reason that she is amongst the sexiest woman around because she is so confident of herself and what she is doing as against some other like Lindsay Lohan, Amy Winehouse to name a couple who have the talent and the fame and the money but with 2 years of reaching dizzy height they just fall from grace.

Actress Eva Mendes joked that her butt has won Denzel Washington an Oscar and that she should receive credit for it: “I don’t do nudity just for the sake of it. I’ve only done it twice before and that was opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Denzel Washington. And Denzel won an Oscar for it… Well not for our scene, for the movie.” She also thinks that if her latest movie, “The Spirit” gets an Oscar, she should receive credit for that too. Somehow I think that this isn’t too much of a joke, especially given the standards in evaluating “acting performance” these days. But (how ironic that this word should appear), she does have a valid point: just look at her wallpaper, isn’t that worth at least one Oscar?
