The Bridget Jones star has posed for the front cover of a Californian style magazine draped in a crimson red dress.

Inside, she strips off to black stockings and even prances for the camera wearing nothing but a black bodice and matching high-heels.

But while the 40-year-old actress has dared to bare for the revealing photos, she is keeping mum about her romance with the 35-year-old Hangover actor.

She said: “You know what? If Michelle Obama gets pregnant, I will care. A lot. I’ll want her to talk about it, and I’ll want to read about it.

“But, gosh – I am way less important.”

Despite her continued silence about her love life, the Texan-born star was very open about her recent move from Los Angeles to New York.

She said: “I felt like I was driving to my life [in LA]. I would drive to the hike instead of walking outside and just getting it done.

“In New York, I feel like I’m constantly involved in living my own life as opposed to just getting to it.”

Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui has said she was shocked to find herself at the top of a Most Desirable Woman poll.

The 32-year-old beauty beat off competition from Megan Fox, Penelope Cruz and Monica Bellucci to claim first place as the Most Desirable Woman for 2010 in a poll by AskMen.com.

She said: “Of course it’s flattering, but it’s shocking! I mean, come on, have you seen the people on this list?”

Asked if she thinks she’s a sex symbol, she said: “No! Hell no! Absolutely not! It’s an incredible compliment. Do I believe it? Do I think so? Absolutely not. And I’m not being modest.”

Kristen Stewart said she was left bruised all over after learning to pole-dance for new movie Welcome to the Rileys.

Stewart, 17, who is best known for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight movies, plays the role of a 16-year-old stripper in the new flick who is taken in by a married man, who is played by James Gandolfini.

She said: “I did some pole-dancing. I got bruises all over my legs. I tore myself up doing it. It sucked.”

However, she added: “The more I saw it, the more I wanted it. It was like a weird, self-hating kind of thing.”

Johnny Depp has topped GQ’s 25 Most Stylish Men in the World list, beating David Beckham, Russell Brand, Pete Doherty and five other Brits to the title.

The 46-year-old actor – who appears on the front cover of the February issue – was praised for de-mystifying “the icon of eccentric cool”.

Mario Lopez has revealed he turned down an offer to pose for Playgirl magazine.

The 36-year-old actor avoided following the same path as model Levi Johnston by posing for the magazine.

He said: “I was flattered that they asked, but I politely declined. I don’t think my mom would be too happy about that, and I have no interest to be honest.”

Robin said “The truth is I have had a lot of different girls in the Pussycat Dolls over the years which many people did not know before the band. I had many reincarnations of the PCD so if a couple of girls want to go out and do something else it is easy for me to find other girls. Jesse Metcalfe got so aroused during sex scenes with his Desperate Housewives co-star Eva Longoria that he was too embarrassed to get out of bed, he has joked.

The screen hunk admitted he got aroused when he rehearsed sex scenes for the show.

Asked on US radio how he stopped himself getting overly excited and “popping a wheelie”, he revealed: “It happens. It doesn’t happen that frequently because there are a lot of people on set, and it can be very technical, but it happens from time to time.”

Jesse, 30, who played teenage gardener John Rowland on the show, was then asked if he ever found himself aroused with Longoria.

He said: “Yeah! As a matter of fact, in the first scene we ever had, where Gabriella and John first had sex, we were rehearsing and then the director was like, ‘OK, get out of bed, we have to reset the set’, and I was like, ‘I need a minute.’”

British actress Kate Beckinsale has been named the sexiest woman alive by Esquire magazine.

Beckinsale, 36, is “beautiful, crisp, smart, tough”, the men’s magazine states in paying its annual tribute to her, which was last year bestowed on Halle Berry.

Other celebs to previously be named sexiest woman include Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johansson.

Beckinsale may be best known for her part in the epic film Pearl Harbor, playing the tragic character of a navy nurse in love with two best friends, one of them played by a dazzling Ben Affleck.

Her parents were actors, though her father died at the age of 31 while she was a child. Beckinsale went to Oxford to study literature. She has lately appeared in Underworld, Van Helsing and with funnyman Adam Sandler in Click.

Kim, 28, is well known for her curvy figure and shapely behind and she admitted that sometimes people go a little far.

She said: “There’s constant interest in my bottom! The paparazzi always want ‘butt’ shots – girls come up to me and grab it and people ask to squeeze it.

“I sometimes think: ‘Everyone’s got a butt, so why do you care about mine?’”

Kim, who is rumoured to have reunited with boyfriend Reggie Bush, said it is thanks to stars like Jennifer Lopez that she can embrace her curves.

She said: “I recently lost 6lb and toned up. My body shape comes from my father’s side of the family – he’s from Armenia, where all the women are voluptuous.

“Thanks to role models like Jennifer Lopez, I’m comfortable with my curves.”

The Twilight star is fascinated by “completely letting something take over”.

She said: “Vampires are sexy because they are meant to draw you in to the point where they have you in a complete state of submission.

“So that’s sexy a little bit – to give yourself to something; to completely let something take over.”

The 19-year-old star added: “It’s forbidden fruit, something you can’t have but just want more.”

Stewart is rumoured to be dating her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, 23, who plays the lead vampire in the film series, but has denied all speculation that the pair are romancing.

The second film in the Twilight series, New Moon, hits cinemas on November 20.

Australian rising star Isabel Lucas will become the face of a new ad campaign for the state of Victoria, of which Melbourne is the capital city.

The Hollywood-based Transformers star will front for a new multi-million-dollar campaign showcasing Victoria’s so-called provincial villages.

Lucas is a graduate of the homegrown television soap opera Home And Away. She is shown in the ads promoting the Daylesford natural springs region.

Tourism Minister Tim Holding said the $7.3 million advertising push will emphasise Victoria as Australia’s “premium indulgence and wellbeing destination”.

He said, “If you ever want to see a campaign that captures the essence of what a region is all about, this is a campaign that does that.”

The chief executive of Tourism Victoria, Greg Hywood, said: “This will be spread over three years – we’ll be leveraging other villages off this campaign. It’s basically saying come to Victoria, involve yourself in the village experience.”

Contrary to rumours, Megan Fox has not been cast as Catwoman for Christopher Nolan’s next Batman movie.

“It’s rumour. It’s not true. There is no script. There is no project to be cast in,” a studio representative said.

Fox is at present in sizzling form in the thriller Jennifer’s Body.

The Transformers superstar was widely reported to be following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry in zipping up into a black suit to play the dangerous feline.

Christian Bale and Michael Caine are said to be lined up for the movie.

Actress Alicia Silverstone has told how Woody Harrelson inspired her to become a nudist.

The Clueless star said she first got into taking her clothes off while she was tending to her garden.

And she credits former Cheers actor Harrelson, 48, for her decision to strip off.

She said: “[It] probably started when I was doing my garden the first time. I’d be out there, and it would be scorching hot, so I would take off all of my clothes and garden. And then I would jump in the pool and swim – and I always get in the pool naked.”

Silverstone, 32, told a US magazine: “I used to spend a lot of time with Woody Harrelson, and he’s not afraid to get naked.”
