US actress Holly Robinson Peete has said she wished she had read John Mayer’s entire interview before praising him for the article.

The 45-year-old star recently said she was flattered by a comment Mayer, 32, made about her in his recent interview with Playboy magazine.

However, Mayer has been criticised for the interview after using an offensive racial term and discussing his sex life with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson.

She said on her blog: “It’s the biggest no-no of them all and coupled with the White Supremacist ‘privates’ comments it dawns hard on me that by gushing about a compliment by one of my fave artists in this article filled with offenses I look like I am giving him some sort of ‘free pass’ just cause he said I was cute!

“Ugh! The whole picture became so vivid. And it began to scare the mess out of me.”

She added: “I just hate that anyone would have the impression I condone or excuse racist comments in any context. I do not. That notion would not go over too well during Kwanzaa at the Peete house! That’s so not me.”

Hugh Hefner, 83, was hit with a lawsuit claiming he knocked back potential buyers of his company in order to upkeep a heady lifestyle.

The Playboy magnate who is the main shareholder and founder of the Chicago-based Playboy Enterprises is being sued by company investor David Brown. Brown in a class action filed in Los Angeles cites a decision by Iconix Brand Group Inc. to break off purchase discussions with Playboy. Iconix, based in New York, allegedly decided the deal would be too complicated to carry out, according to sources.

Business Week reports Brown’s lawsuit claims Hefner also rejected an offer from San Francisco-based Golden Gate Capital Corp. Brown’s filing stated: “According to published reports, one of the main reasons why these deals failed was Hefner’s insistence on maintaining the lifestyle to which he has grown accustomed.”

Brown, of Los Angeles, also said: “In its 1999 heyday, Playboy traded as high as $36 per share. Today, the price of a Playboy magazine is far higher than the price of a share of Playboy common stock.”

TMZ, meanwhile, today reported it obtained legal documents that represent the finalisation of the magnate’s divorce from Kimberly Hefner official on March 11 with sources citing a confidential property settlement. The couple married in 1989 and have two adult sons.

TV presenter Cat Deeley has denied reports that she is to strip off for Playboy magazine.

The 33-year-old star recently kicked off the UK series of US dance show So You Think You Can Dance, and admitted that she is often the target of dodgy rumours.

She said: “I seem to inspire the most bizarre rumours. Leonardo DiCaprio was meant to have asked me out, while I was having a meeting with Playboy about doing a nude photo-shoot.”

She added: “I’ve never dated Leo and I won’t be posing for Playboy while my dad is still alive. The latest rumour is that I live in the house Marilyn Monroe died in, and Marilyn’s ghost haunts the property.

New mum Kendra Wilkinson has revealed how her new son Hank is helping her get her Playboy body back.

“I’m gonna be a hot mama!” pledges the star of E! reality show, Kendra.

Kendra, who gave birth to her first son with Hank Baskett III on December 11, has a serious workout regime, thanks to her three-week-old baby, Hank IV.

“The doctor said I can’t exercise until after six weeks [due to a C-section], but getting up and down in the middle of the night – feeding him, changing him and soothing him when he’s crying – is my ab workout already!”

Kimora Lee Simmons has admitted that she is still interested in posing for Playboy magazine.

The 34-year-old, who wed her second husband Djimon Hounsou in May, has revealed she has been offered the chance to pose for the magazine several times and has considered it.

She said to OK!: “I’ve talked to Playboy quite a bit. We’ve talked about it quite a few times. I’ve had cover stories lined up more than once. It’s something I never came around to doing at that time.”

She added: “I feel like I’m a little different than some of these women who do it because I do have a tremendous business, and an empire and a fashion line – my whole life of my businesses and being an entrepreneur and a business mogul.

Playboy owner Hugh Hefner has revealed that he once almost died while having sex.

The 83-year-old, who currently lives in the Playboy Mansion with his three girlfriends Crystal Harris and twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, told how a sex aid once almost led to his death.

He said: “There was a moment when I was having sex with four Playmates and I almost swallowed a Ben Wa Ball.”

Hefner, who said he has sex “two to three times a week”, also revealed that his most treasured possession is his “rotating round bed” and that the love of his life has been “probably my girlfriend, Crystal Harris”.

Levi Johnston has said he would let his son Tripp follow in his footsteps and pose for Playgirl magazine when he is old enough.

Johnston, 19, recently posed naked for the women’s magazine and said that if his 11-month-old son wanted to do the same, he would let him.

Johnston said: “Seventeen, no. Eighteen, 19, he’s old enough to make his own decisions. If I’m doing it, I couldn’t tell him not to, I’d be a hypocrite.

Hard-partying actress Tara Reid is set to pose naked for Playboy magazine.

The American Pie star will bare all in the upcoming issue of the men’s magazine, bosses have confirmed.

Reid, 34, has become as famous for her wardrobe malfunctions in the last few years, as for her movie roles.

Known for her wild lifestyle, she had her breasts surgically enhanced and once famously exposed herself on the red carpet when her dress strap came loose.

Playboy bosses are using Tara’s penchant for revealing too much as a marketing ploy for the star’s pictorial.

“Imagine what happens when she struts her stuff on purpose,” they teased.

Actor Gilles Marini will cover up his taut and toned body in a Playboy magazine photospread.

Marini, who has drawn attention for his role in the 2008 Sex And The City movie, will pose in suits by Tom Ford, Bottega Veneta and Ermenegildo Zegna and act like a cad.

He will behave terribly toward women in a shoot that has been inspired by the movie Room Service.

Marini will appear in a cut-out scene that mimicks oral sex in an elevator and in another scene trying to force scantily clad women to change a tyre on his sports car. In another, he will try to balance a cocktail on the forehead of a woman kneeling at a pool.

Marini, 33, has been making appearances as Luc in Brothers & Sisters and on Nip/Tuck.

Shauna Sand is the latest celebrity to be embroiled in a sex tape row.

The former Playboy Playmate is trying to block a hardcore porn tape acquired by Vivid Entertainment featuring her and an ex-boyfriend.

Sand admitted that she did make the tape but is fighting tooth and nail to stop the porn giants from releasing it.

She said: “Yes, I did make a sex tape with my boyfriend earlier this year. In fact, I’ve made several sex tapes, but I certainly didn’t sign off on this and Vivid has no right to put it out. I am trying to get a hold of my attorney now.”

However, Vivid boss Steven Hirsch argues that he’s legally entitled to sell the tape, set for release on October 19.

He said: “We were approached by a third party, who brought us footage of Shauna having sex with her current boyfriend and we were immediately interested in acquiring it… We’re comfortable with our legal position in releasing this footage.”

Sand, 38, became Playboy Playmate of the Month for May 1996 after doing a test shoot for Hugh Hefner.

She has also appeared on TV shows such as Charmed and Renegade, as well as comedy movie The Deviants.

Hugh wants the 23-year-old to pose in the famous men’s magazine.

Hefner, 83, said: “Megan is a fox.”

Hef’s girlfriends also have their eyes on Kelly Osbourne to pose in the magazine.

Crystal Harris said: “She’s losing weight and she’s blond now. She looks good. I want to see what she looks like naked.”

Karissa Shannon added: “Yeah! We want to see Kelly Osbourne naked!”

Kelly reportedly doesn’t want to pose in Playboy but it is a possibility that Megan still might.

Playboy magazine magnate Hugh Hefner, 83, has filed for divorce from his second wife, former Playmate Kimberley Conrad, after the couple’s 11-year separation.

Hefner’s filing cites irreconcilable differences, Los Angeles court records show. But the filing is said to be triggered by Conrad suing her husband in recent weeks for $5million over the sale of a home they owned together.

Conrad, 47, has two children with Hefner. She has lived with his monetary support – $250,000 per year – in a home next to the Playboy mansion.

Hefner has a few dates right now and says marriage is not on the cards. “It’s unlikely since I haven’t been very successful at it. But anything is possible.”

He is said to be seeing Playmates Crystal Harris, 23, and twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, 19.

Hefner says he does not owe Conrad money and has honoured a prenuptial arrangement the pair had. He said: “I would’ve been happy to divorce her when we separated, but she wanted to remain married for our boys.”

The octo mum has reportedly been offered $400,000 by Hugh Hefner to pose for the famous magazine.

Despite the offer, the 34-year-old doesn’t want to strip down.

A source said: “Hugh sent her a letter, but Kate was totally mortified and threw it away!

“She didn’t think it was appropriate because of the children.”

Former Playmate Kendra Wilkinson called Hugh Hefner to break the news she is expecting a baby with American Football star Hank Baskett, in the latest episode of her US reality show.

And Hefner, 83, showed he’s not bitter about Kendra leaving him for Hank by offering his congratulations to the couple and telling them: “I love you both.”

As Kendra dialled the Playboy Mansion, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank admitted: “I’m kind of nervous about this call.” But he had no need to worry as Hefner seemed thrilled.

After Kendra, 24, told him: “I’m pregnant!” Hefner replied: “You’re kidding! Congratulations, both you and Hank. That’s wonderful.”

Kendra added: “I’m going to be a pregnant bride, Hef.”

Hefner joked: “Well, what’s more contemporary than that?”

He added: “I love you both and you will always have a second home here.”

The Playboy founder, who swiftly replaced Kendra and his two other former girlfriends with three even younger beauties, also spoke to Hank on the phone.

He told him: “I’m doing good, but I’m not doing as good as you, obviously!”

Former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson gave her own spin on skydiving – by doing it topless.

Kendra went to an indoor skydiving centre while partying in Las Vegas with two female friends.

The reality TV star then stripped off for topless skydiving captured by her reality TV show Kendra.

Later, she went wild with even more friends – with them all stripping off to get into their Playboy hotel pool.

Kendra was in Vegas for an advertising shoot – her first with a male model – and decided to have a girls’ weekend.

“I kinda felt it was like a pre-bachelorette party. A great time to spend with my girlfriends and get away from Hank!” she said of then-fiancé Hank Baskett, whom she has married since the episode was filmed.

As hard as she partied, Kendra melted as soon as she saw Hank, who spent his time alone going on a cleaning spree. “Going to Vegas with my girls was a lot of fun, but coming home to my fiancé – there’s nothing like it,” Kendra gushed.

Reality star Khloe Kardashian has admitted she has lost 20lbs since her PETA shoot after changing her eating habits and hitting the gym.

The 25-year-old, who will soon be seen in her new reality show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, admitted she lost the weight since shedding her clothes for PETA’s I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur campaign.

She said: “I’ve changed my eating. Eating is my hardest problem. I need sweets. That’s my major problem. And I’ve been killing myself at the gym.”

The star admitted that she will be getting her body out for her upcoming reality show.

She said: “I actually was in a bikini on camera! I’ve never done that and I wouldn’t have ever thought to do that.

“And I have to admit, I was still insecure… I’ve just got to tone up more, but I never would have done that before – ever. I would rather have died.”

Khloe’s sister Kim, 28, has posed for Playboy in the past and Khloe admitted she will never say never about following in her footsteps.

She said: “I like doing things for a reason, and not just because someone gave me a big cheque. So I personally will say, not right now, but I can’t say never.”

Cindy Margolis and Guy Starkman have filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Margolis, a Playboy covergirl, model and TV hostess, and Starkman, who owns Jerry’s Famous Deli, have three children. They have requested joint custody of Nicholas, 7, and three-year-old twins Sierra and Sabrina. The divorce petition was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on June 23.

The couple reportedly met on a blind date and have been married for nine years.

Margolis, 43, first drew attention to herself when she released her own range of greeting cards, featuring her wearing lingerie. A highly successful modelling career followed. She has had a late-night Saturday talk show, appeared in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, and has begun production on reality-TV dating show Sex and the Cindy.

She wrote: “Hi guys! i have some great news… u can now buy your very own Kendra Wilkinson sport pole!!!!! yayyyyy!!! I’m telling you… it is seriously the best workout ever and it’s SO much fun.”

Wilkinson is expecting her first child with fiance Hank Baskett, and said during a recent interview: “I’m still out there working out, hiking. I’m still at the gym. It’s not ruining my workout routine.”
