Halle Barry may be pushing 50–she is actually 42-years old but she and husband Gabriel Aubry are rooting for another baby. Their first child Nahla Ariela is turning a year old this March and Audry does not want her to be an only child. Audry, who has eight siblings, said he has never known anybody who has had a single child and he is making sure his daughter will not be an only child if he has his way.

Audry said Berry is okey with the family planning bit but they better do it fast with the time ticking against them. Baby Nahla is already in that stage where she walks and frustrates everyone with her alien talk. The proud papa however said it was probably “dada” which Nahla first uttered but then again he said it could have been “mama” just so nobody’s feelings would get hurt–referring to Berry. Nahla’s name in Arabic means “Drink of Water” while her second name Ariela has a Hebrew origin meaning “Lion of God”.

There are a lot of pregnant women are running around these days. There’s Jamie Lynn Spears, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry and Nicole Richie. And there’s another little lady joining the unwed mothers-to-be – British singer Lily Allen is pregnant. I guess she has something new to smile about now.

The Sun reports that the 22-year old pop star and her boyfriend of only 3 months, 37-year old Chemical Brothers member Ed Simons are expecting. Do they not have knowledge of birth control? There goes her weight loss regimen. She might need to develop a new one in around 9 months time.

Of all the reasons to want a child, because your best mate is having one isn’t the best reason in the world. Paris Hilton has revealed she is desperate to have a child, despite not having a boyfriend, so that her baby and that of best friend Nicole Richie can grow up together.

She said: “Nicole and I have been playing together since we were two years old. I was just telling her, ‘I want a baby so that our babies can play together.’ It would be lovely if they could grow up as close as we are.”

Ok, is it me, or is this like getting the same handbag as your girlfriend so you can match? But our Paris is currently boyfriend-less so will need a volunteer…don’t all rush at once boys.

Some paps and even on lookers have spotted a pregnant Nicole Richie smoking a cigarette outside DaSilvano restaurant in NYC. meh… it doesn’t surprise me that she’s smoking while pregnant. It just means the baby will look more like a golem like her mom, and end up with the intelligence of one if it’s unlucky. While I don’t agree with smoking during pregnancy, I also realize how hard it is to quit when you are addicted. I don’t remember seeing Nicole smoke when she wasn’t pregnant…so….BUT if she is…then that’s her business. I know it’s not healthy for the baby; many women give birth every day to babies when they smoked the whole time. I don’t like to see it, it IS their life. You know? Maybe she is just carrying them for someone. Who knows? I have never smoked, but my mom would send me to the store to buy her cigarettes. Which simply means at some point I’d have to carry them. Don’t jump to conclusions.

Hilary better be thanking her lucky stars she’s rid of him. Obviously he’s delusional if THIS is the kind of woman he wants. I cannot believe that anyone would want to marry her. I hope that he realizes what he is getting himself into by marrying her! If he is smart he will make her get a paternity test before he does marry her! Isn’t she a big heroine addict? Since she is an anorexic and a druggie I will be very surprised if she does not have a miscarriage! If she actually does have the baby I hope that it matures her and hopefully she will straighten out! I think Hillary Duff is better off without this guy if this is the kind of woman that he is attracted to and marries! Being in Hollywood gives you the license to be stupid and take the movie title ‘Dump and Dumper’ (starring Jim Carrey) literally by the scurf of the neck and do things that only a person belonging to the Hollywood idiots gang can do, be assured there are more insane things to come from this couple.

Nicole Richie appeared in court last week on charges for a second DUI. She was ordered to serve a 96 hour jail sentence as well as pay a measly fine over $2000. The extra kick that the public has just learned about is that Nicole with have to pay for her stay in prison out of her own pocket. I’m sure this really means out of Daddy’s pocket but still, it is a good extra throw in. The main thing here is that she had the decency to plead guilty and accept whatever came her way. I doubt we will be seeing her bawling all the way to jail like Paris Hilton was. Richie has to complete her sentence before September 28th as well as enroll in a three week drug and alcohol program. She’s got three years of probation that if she violates will land her in jail for a year. It’s interesting to see how everything breaks down so differently for all of these girls charged with the same thing. It’s too bad more of them don’t have the decency to admit they did wrong. Nicole is rumored to be pregnant and that may have something to do with her maturing attitude.

According to sources The Simple Life star Nicole Richie is twelve weeks pregnant with the baby of her rocker boyfriend, Joel Madden. The report is that she took a home pregnancy test that came out positive and has been waiting out the first few crucial months before announcing it officially. This is more than strange to me. I’m not even sure how a girl that scrawny can properly carry a baby. For one, you need hips. For two, starvation plus baby growing doesn’t equal a happy outcome. I guess it’s time for Nicole to stop thinking about herself. If she wasn’t already worried about her appearance she will be now. A baby bump can be a beautiful thing but to some is seen as an imperfection of their body. Hopefully Nicole will see this as a blessing and do what’s right for her baby. No word on what Joel’s ex Hilary Duff thinks. I doubt that she really cares though now that she is taking the more sophisticated road.

Rumors of Nicole Richie being pregnant and possibly engaged may be the talk of the town. But if ever that doesn’t work out, Joel Madden doesn’t have to worry about any love loss. Especially not if he has a plethora of groupies to choose from.

The Good Charlotte front man turned out to be quite the ladies man in Chicago last Friday where he showed his DJ skills at Crobar. Bring on the groupies!

I’m iffy on this. I’m not sure if a groupie is a step up or a step down in his choice of girls. But then again… what sane female finds Joel Madden hot?
