It seems that after getting a certification as a saucier, Kelis is now thinking about launching her own range of sauces. This is what Kelis said about her new plans: “I want to have my own sauce line. I became a saucier in school. I love the lifestyle of a great meal. I think food, fashion and music all go together when it’s done right. I also want to get my sommelier certification, which I’m going to do eventually. I love the whole thing. I want to go back to school, too.” The music industry just isn’t working about anymore, is it? Still, it is strange that an independent and self-sustaining artist such as Kelis would actually need to keep sucking money out from Nas. Doesn’t he deserve a brake too?

Ekaterina Ivanova, the Rolling Stones guitarist’s former girlfriend, has recently revealed his true nature. This is what she said about Ronnie Wood: “The whole thing started off like a fairytale. Then it felt like an evil fairytale. When Ronnie and I moved into a tower my friends were laughing and saying I was like the princess trapped in the tower. He also said that he smokes 7 or 8 spliffs a day, cutting back on his 25-a-day habit, but still found it necessary to smoke two joints during the interview. George also discussed his sex life and revealed that Elton John, Bono and Geri Halliwell have all tried to help the troubled pop star get off the bad stuff but that he shuts them down before they get a chance. He said “Elton lives on that. He will not be happy until I bang on his door in the middle of the night saying, ‘Please, please, help me, Elton. Take me to rehab.’ It’s not going to happen. Elton just needs to shut his mouth and get on with his own life.”

Halle Berry definitely got lucky when she snagged herself her long time love Gabriel Aubry. Not only is the guy absolutely gorgeous but he’s also pretty talented. The model also happens to be a musician! Gabriel actually produced and played the guitar on an album called ‘Café Fuego Volume 1’. Expect a delicate fusion of soulful sounds, highlighted with a world music flair, bossanova grooves and inspired by Latin and Cuban roots. The Pussycat Dolls singer has recently stated that she is confident that Sugababes have not changed even despite the departure of Keisha Buchanan. This is what Kimberly Wyatt said on the matter: “Of course the Sugababes can continue with three different people. There is life after the band because people grow as human beings and need to honor their ambitions and dreams. The Pussycat Dolls is built like a Broadway show and people come and go. The Pussycat Dolls will continue even if some people leave.” Am I mistaken… or is Kimberly Wyatt taking this opportunity to try and banish her own insecurities regarding the future of The Pussycat Dolls with this statement? Mayhaps there is turmoil in their midst also… a plot seems to be brewing.

Peepshow star Mel B has admitted she could never have a long-distance relationship with her husband as she would “miss sex too much”.

The 34-year-old star, who is the face of underwear chain Ultimo, is married to Hollywood producer Stephen Belafonte, 33, and she admitted they have a passionate relationship.

She said: “I couldn’t bear being away from him for longer than a week. He’s been with me for the last five months in Vegas and I went with him when he had a filming project in New Orleans.

“Before we got married, we both agreed that long-distance relationships just don’t work – plus I’d miss sex too much.”

She added: “We really can’t keep our hands off each other. Most days, we have sex five times.”

Asked if she really has sex with her husband five times a day, she said: “Yes, sex is a huge part of my fitness. It’s all-over body conditioning after all.”

Talking about how she finds the time to fit it in with her busy schedule, she said: “We find it. We’re not having sex for two hours each time, but when I see him, I just want to grab him.

“I’m a nymphomaniac and he’s got a really high sex drive so it works well.”

But when she doesn’t see her husband she has another solution, she said: “Oh, that’s easy. I’ve always got my Pocket Rocket.”

Michael Jackson’s family lawyer says the performer’s reliance on painkillers had become “life threatening”.

Brian Oxman fears the medication may have contributed to the 50-year-old’s death from a suspected heart attack.

The lawyer said: “I don’t know if they are the cause here. I will reserve my conclusions until the toxicology reports and the coroner has made his report before I make any accusations. But I can tell you that if it is as I fear I will not be silent.

“I have been very, very critical of the use of pain medications. I have told people in no uncertain terms that if Michael one day woke up and he was dead I would not be silent, I would not permit this to go unchallenged.

“Michael had fallen from a stage several years ago. He cracked a vertebrae in his back. He also broke his leg and it’s caused him a lot of pain. The result of that is he has taken a lot of pain medications. They’ve been to treat actual pains he’s had, but the use of these medications I felt had become life threatening.”

A source related the following Jennifer Aniston’s new little hobby: “Jennifer sent John a hand-delivered perfumed note before one of his concerts recently. It read, ‘Play well, you always do’. The reviews say a lot about the need for an evolution within the Pussycat Dolls. Nicole’s always had extra things going on as opposed to the rest of us, but we have aspirations as well. It’s definitely a huge misconception that we are just chilling and happy to just be members of the group.” Yeah, the Pussycat Dolls definitely need an evolution. They’re probably going to disband and reform under a new name, or perhaps come back together after a couple of years and claim they have “grown”.

According to a new report, there have been talks that Islamic extremists have drawn up a hit list of some of Britain’s leading Jews. Glen Jenvey, a British anti-terror expert says that he believes that an online forum is being used to make the threats. He added “Those listed should treat it very seriously. The singer reportedly caused a fist fight after storming off the stage of a Hollywood venue because she wasn’t satisfied with the sound quality. While the rest of the gay and lesbian community are castigating State officials for the passage of Proposition 8 which disallows gay and lesbian marriages in the State of California, here comes Sir Elton John supporting the said constitutional amendment. So what’s his take on this? Gay couples, he said, should stick to civil unions instead of getting married. Elton’s pronouncements were made during Monday night’s Elton John AIDS Foundation benefit show.

Elton said heterosexual citizens can get married while homosexuals can have civil partnerships. True to his word, he is indeed committed to his partner David Furnish through a civil union ceremony in Windsor, England wayback 2005. He urged the gay and lesbian community to opt for civil partnership because just the word “marriage” puts people off.

His statement started the whole world considering that he is a known singer-composer as well as a staunch gay rights and AIDS activist. Elton however confirmed he does not like marriage and so favors Proposition 8 which was approved by 52% of the voters.

A lot of celebrities have shown their disgust over the approval of Proposition 8 among them Melissa Etheridge and Ellen de Generes (both married to their partners) and even George Clooney! Other personalities who have made donations to support their cause include David Geffen, Steven Spielberg and Brad Pitt. President-elect Barack Obama as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger also indicated their support for the cause.
