How in the world did one little island hold this much diva power? Beyonce and Mariah Carey looked like they had a fabulous time ringing in 2009 in St. Barth. The two divas and their respective men celebrated at Nikki Beach club in the Caribbean destination. It’s a good thing that the planet didn’t implode from their combination. And is it me or are the couples coordinated with their outfits I want to know what they talked about at that party. I wonder if these two will come up with a duet. That will be another colossal moment for sure.

Mariah Carey has revealed that she and Nick Cannon waited until their wedding prior to taking their intimacy level to the next flight. She said that though there was quite a bit of intimacy before their wedding but some things were left for post wedding. And their love truly blossomed thereafter with the new wed couple taking a two month romantic vacations after tying the knot in Bahamas in April.

“He’s incredibly romantic,” Mariah said and we all too know that now that Nick just gifted Mariah a pair of heart-shaped earrings to celebrate the successful completion of 6 months of their marriage.

But I think Mariah Carey should have not disclosed this to the world cos’ I know there are lot many girls waiting to grab Nick from Mariah, girls just can’t stop feeling jealous that Mariah Carey has found a man who loves her so incredibly and would be thinking of ways to get close to Nick. Mariah you better keep an eye on such girls getting close to your man.

The ‘Touch My Body’ singer, who has a reputation for being a diva, enjoyed a peaceful swim on her second honeymoon with husband Nick Cannon off the island of Capri.

As she emerged from the water, Mariah was quickly met by two assistants bearing towels, who then proceeded to ensure she was completely dry by rubbing her all over. A source said: “Mariah looked in absolute heaven as she was dried off. She just held out her arms to her side and let the assistants get rid of any water remaining on her body.”

I don’t know who I feel sorry for the most – Mariah for being so pampered to, or the assistants for having to do such a menial task.

The woman who served newlyweds Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey at LA’s Gyu Kaku has come out to dish details about the couple’s date. According to the server, Nick, Mariah and one of her backup dancers came in for an intimate dinner last week. Mariah and the dancer sipped on wine while Nick, being the eternal kid that he is, guzzled four Shirley Temples. The couple held hands throughout the meal and seemed down to earth. And this may come as a shocker to most but Nick actually paid for the meal and even left a 20% tip! I wonder if Mariah gave him an allowance.

Access Hollywood is reporting that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are in fact engaged. Speculation first came about when the diva was spotted sporting a huge rock on the red carpet premiere of her movie at the Tribeca Film Festival. The 38-year old singer and the 27-year old actor were then spotted in each other’s arms at the after-party. When Nick was asked at the party about what he loved about the curvaceous diva, his response was “Everything.” If this is really true, I say congratulations to the couple. This would be Mariah’s second marriage and Nick’s first but he was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret Angel Selita Ebanks.

The Madonna and Mariah Carey battle has been going on for a while. Who will sell more albums? Who will break more records? Now, the question is whose film will be better? Both the divas have films screening at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. Madonna’s ‘I Am Because We Are’ premiered on Thursday. Her film is a documentary focusing on the severe issues in Malawi in which Madonna was a writer, producer and narrator for. Mariah’s film ‘Tennessee’ will premiere on Saturday. Mariah acts in the film as a waitress with singing dreams to pursue in Tennessee. Considering that she’s acting in this one, I’ll give Madonna the award right now.

Even though ‘Glitter’ was a big box office bomb, it doesn’t mean that it would deter Mariah Carey from making more movies. Sources from the set of her latest film ‘Tennessee’ are reporting that Mariah’s character in the movie had to be ‘uglified’ and Mariah was said to be none to happy about it.

Mariah plays a Southern waitress who goes off on a journey with two brothers in search of their father. While she agreed to the cornrows, she reportedly passed on the fake nose and bushy eyebrows that had been conceived for the part. You can’t be glam all the time you know?!
