Lily Allen, who is said to have adopted the Midas touch with the golden clobber she now wears, was seen out in London town again with her new painter beau.

Allen and Sam Cooper made their way to the luxury Nobu restaurant and Soho noshery Quo Vadis. It was the first full glimpse of Cooper for onlookers.

The two were said to be unable to keep their hands off each other before night’s end. Allen, 24, was seen staggering her way to a taxi.

Cooper’s website boasts his stable prospects. It says his interior decorating firm has “an excellent reputation for reliability, integrity and high quality”.

Allen’s old flames include rapper-producer Mike Skinner, disc jockey Seb Chew and the Chemical Brothers’ Ed Simons. She recently broke up with Jay Jopling, a wealthy art dealer.

The two celebrities had supposedly had a drinking contest lately, out of which Kate Moss came out victorious. The victory however came at a considerable price in blood… or rather, neurons for both Kate Moss and Lily Allen, as a source relates: “Kate and Lily each made up various cocktails and had a competition to see how many they could drink. Lily Allen has apparently sent a topless photo of herself to Kaiser Chief’s front man Ricky Wilson accidentally and then openly talked about it on BBC1. The troublesome singer said “That was really embarrassing. I was completely topless.” It’s not like the world hasn’t seen what you have to offer honey. Get over it. Anyway, when she was asked who the picture was really for, she answered Rick Astley. I wouldn’t be surprised if she wasn’t joking. We all know how she likes older guys. We should all really be thankful that she’s actually of legal age or she would be in a whole other world of trouble.

The singer recently received a neat little package from her friend, Jamie Winstone, containing a few little trinkets to make her nights a little more exciting. A source had this to say about the gift: “Lily has enjoyed being single since splitting from Ed but she has been moaning about her sex life. Lily Allen will soon have the chance to redeem herself – or fail miserably trying – as the singerhas just announced on her blog that her record, which was recently postponed by her label, will come out early next year. Lily says “My new album will be released on the 9th of Feb 2009. I know it’s a while away, but there will be bits and bobs flying around before then, I’m shooting a video(for viral release) in the next couple of weeks , to keep you entertained . I am so excited, were getting all the artwork and stuff done and coming up with new and interesting ideas. I am trying really hard to do this album with integrity and I want you all to know that it has been thought about by me, not just some thrown together last minute industry bullshizz.” Integrity. Elton John and Lily Allen co-hosted the British GQ awards recently and things got ugly pretty quickly.
