Kate Moss has slipped from second to sixth on the annual Best Dressed list for Harpers Bazaar magazine.

Fashion designer Stella McCartney topped the list for 2009, while actress Tilda Swinton came in second.

The Harpers Bazaar ranking is influential in the high-stakes fashion world.

Agyness Deyn moved up the list from eighth to seventh ranking. She took Moss’s Model of the Year title in 2008.

Gwyneth Paltrow, the Oscar-winning American actress based in London, slipped off the Harpers radar altogether when she fell from the top 20.

Kate Moss has told mates this week that she never wants to marry her lover Jamie Hince.

A friend of Kate’s said: “Kate says she doesn’t want to get married and that’s that. She doesn’t believe in it, and her beliefs have become more certain now as she and Jamie are rowing more and tension is high.

“Kate has seen her pals’ marriages fall apart and doesn’t want to put herself or her daughter Lila Grace through that – she doesn’t see the point.”

The pal added: “Being in a volatile relationship is one thing, because you can always leave, but being married is totally different.

“This will shock Jamie, as he has had plans to propose for a while and he really wants to marry Kate. But, on some level at least, he must have been expecting it.”

The couple’s troubles started on a recent trip to St Tropez, where the pair argued about Kate’s mates Lily Allen and Kelly Osbourne joining the pair on holiday.

Jamie wanted to know why the celebrities were intruding on their romantic vacation.

A source said: “Jamie was fuming and couldn’t understand why Kate kept inviting her friends on their family holiday.”

The rock band whose guitarist, Jamie Hince, had such a rough argument with his girlfriend, Kate Moss, that she threw his laptop into a pool where he had six of the band’s new tracks that weren’t saved anywhere else. A source related the incident: “Kate and Jamie started bickering out of nowhere and the row quickly escalated. She stalked off outside and, before he had a chance to react, Kate grabbed his bag and threw it into the pool. Unfortunately it contained his laptop, Blackberry and personal diary. Jamie was speechless. He waded into the water to take the bag out, and tried to save the laptop – removing the hard drive and putting it into an airing cupboard.” The fans are probably going to really hate Kate Moss for this one. Talk about a nether region hit… this one was really, really low!

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince recently stepped out into the London sunshine.

Hand in hand, the couple appeared to be an item as they strolled along the streets in half-length boots, jeans, shades and T-shirts.

The pair were spotted in the Primrose Hill area, stopping at a shop to buy newspapers. Moss appeared to put her hand in Hince’s back pocket as she kissed him.

The sighting signals that the pair may have healed their rift.

The global financial crisis has hit Gisele Bundchen’s pay packet, with the Brazilian supermodel raking in just $25 million this year – down $10 million from 2008, says Forbes magazine.

Still, it was more than enough for the publication to name her the world’s top-earning model for the third year in a row.

Bundchen, married to NBA football star Tom Brady, models for Versace, Dior, True Religion jeans and Ebel watches.

Heidi Klum finished in second place with $16 million but she earned $2 million more than the previous year. Klum is host on Germany’s Next Top Model and Project Runway and is a model for Victoria’s Secret. She also promotes Diet Coke, Volkswagen and LG.

Kate Moss has kept third place, with $8.5 million, earning $1 million more than the year before.

Completing the top five are Adriana Lima, who last week announced her pregnancy to basketball star Marko Jaric, and Doutzen Kroes. This makes the leaders the same as last year.

Australia’s Miranda Kerr rose from 10th to ninth place this year. She earned $3 million after landing several deals, including Victoria’s Secret.

Gisele Bundchen has again been named the world’s highest-earning model.

The Brazilian-born beauty topped a Forbes.com list for the third year in a row after raking in an estimated $25m.

But despite making millions between June 2008 and June 2009, she made $10m less than the previous year – largely due to the global economic crisis.

Gisele Bundchen, 28, who recently wed US football star Tom Brady, has lucrative campaign deals with a string of fashion firms, including True Religion jeans and Versace. She also has her own successful shoe line.

Heidi Klum was in second place, with $16m, and Kate Moss came third, earning an estimated $8.5m.

The two celebrities had supposedly had a drinking contest lately, out of which Kate Moss came out victorious. The victory however came at a considerable price in blood… or rather, neurons for both Kate Moss and Lily Allen, as a source relates: “Kate and Lily each made up various cocktails and had a competition to see how many they could drink. Kate doesn’t know yet what Lily will be giving her. They both became pretty drunk by the end.” The situation grows most dire… Kate Moss and Lily Allen will most likely never be the same. After all, they can only take so many cerebral casualties.

People who think they are fat when they are actually just right should stop becoming obsessed with being reed-thin. This fad is apparently out as reed-thin icon Kate Moss proves. Moss, who has been shown in photos with a rounded stomach, admitted she is not pregnant but just gaining weight. Her body has launched a lot of insecurities and fad diets but Moss is finally filling up in all the right places where a woman should. Moss admitted that even her friends have been asking her about the pregnancy rumors considering that she put on a couple of pounds. This, she said, shows she is a woman after all.

Being pregnant should not be a cause for worry though because even if rumors are true this is not the first time for Moss as she has a 6-year old daughter named Lila. Moss said she has never worn a bra in her life but she now wears a B-cup. This is starting to freak her out because her boyfriend Jamie Hince, who is a British guitarist, might not like it.

It looks like, that in Pete Doherty’s cracked out mind, it’s going to be Pete and Kate forever. On Monday night, the crack loving rocker bought a painting of his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss at his impromptu gig at Jazz After Dark in the Soho area of London. While Kate has moved on, it looks like Pete hasn’t. Why? It’s not like he’s run out of crack pals. That’s what Amy Winehouse is for. He’s only just making himself look like a stalker for buying that painting. I just hope he didn’t pay too much for it. It’s not like Kate’s worth a lot anyway.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell IS going bald, a pal confirmed this week.

The fiery 38-year-old – this week charged over an alleged air-rage bust-up – started losing her hair 15 years ago, the friend said. It began thinning as she kept having extensions – and she ignored warnings about losing her own hair unless she gave it a rest, it is claimed.

Naomi was snapped with what appeared to be a bald patch this week outside Heathrow police station. Fashion photographer and ex-model Huggy Ragnarsson said: “That’s been happening for a while. The hair stylist Sam McKnight said to me in the Nineties, ‘She’d better be careful with those weaves, she’s going to lose her hair.’”

Naomi has been accused of assaulting two cops, threatening air crew and disorderly conduct. She allegedly flew into a rage last month at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 in a row over her luggage.

Huggy, 44, who worked with Naomi at the height of her career, claimed her friend’s legendary temper was due to unspoken tensions with mum Valerie, 63. She split from Naomi’s dad when she was a baby.

The Icelandic former supermodel said: “I don’t like Naomi’s disrespect for people. One minute someone’s her best friend, the next minute she’s like, ‘Get them out this room’. Did Kate Moss ever do that? Do you see her throwing phones? Do you see her throwing a rage? Never.”

The supermodel – who is rumoured to be tying the knot with her rocker lover Jamie Hince in September – is keen for her nuptials to have a rocky edge and wants a dark-coloured wedding gown.

A source said: “Kate has asked a designer friend to come up with ideas for her dress. The full-skirted gown would be either in purple or black and have vintage rock ‘n’ roll charms as the trimming.”

It has previously been claimed Kate and Jamie have booked a former power station for their wedding reception. The couple have hired Wapping Food, also known as the Wapping Project, in East London, for the star-studded bash.

A source said: “They have booked the entire venue. It will be quite a party. The wedding will be quite intimate. This will be the big event for all their friends.”

Kate Moss’ fiance had a furious row with police after his band held a raucous party in their hotel room.

The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince and his group infuriated staff at a Barcelona hotel with their loud antics as they filmed a video in one of the suites. After ignoring all pleas to keep quiet, staff phoned the police.

Jamie’s bandmate Alison Mosshart said: “They demanded the tapes. They were called because we woke up some silly b*****d who couldn’t take her hands off the phone to the front desk.”

A source added: “It sounded like they were having a riotous party, with shrieking and laughing. It was the early hours and people weren’t impressed. The police thing was a massive over-reaction but no one was arrested.”

Kate Moss is planning a traditional white wedding.

The supermodel – who got engaged to rocker lover Jamie Hince last month – is finalising details for the summer nuptials and wants them to be completely different from the commitment ceremony she had with ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty last year.

A source said, “Kate and Pete’s blessing in Thailand was only attended by a few people as no one really approved of them getting married. But all her friends love Jamie, as does her mother Linda. At the moment, she says she wants a white wedding at the little church in her village in the Cotswolds. She wants something typically English, with lots of flowers and her daughter, Lila, as bridesmaid.”

Kate – who began dating The Kills guitarist last August – is also deciding which lucky designer gets to create her bridal dress.

The source added: “Kate is very close to a number of British designers, including John Galliano and Alexander McQueen, but she wants to take her time deciding. However, she has said she wants something simple that reflects the English countryside theme. She might even go for something vintage.”

Friends of the supermodel fear her life could spiral out of control after Fiona announced she would quit as Kate’s PA at the end of the month to have a baby and said she may not return.

A source revealed: “Kate got completely drunk and started crying about Fiona leaving. This woman is like a sister to her – she has held her life together through thick and thin. Kate is beside herself. Kate has been saying her life will spin out of control when Fiona leaves and she does not know how she will cope.”

Adding: “Her partner Jamie Hince is on tour with The Kills, her mother Linda is renovating her home and her long-term nanny Jade Davidson quit in December. Now Fiona, the rock of her life, is leaving.”

The source said: “Her PA is the person closest to her, even closer than her partner. That trust is a very delicate thing. Fiona orders Kate’s groceries, pays her bills, organises her daughter Lila’s life and negotiates her contracts.”

Here’s an idea – maybe Kate could do those things herself, like normal people do?
