Sacha Baron Cohen has revealed he used a former bodyguard for Enrique Iglesias when he interviewed a terrorist in the West Bank for his new film, Bruno.

The funnyman dropped his gay fashionista alter ego and played it straight when he appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman last night.

In the rare interview out of character, Cohen joked about the bizarre choice of bodyguard, saying: “I knew he would take a bra for me.”

For the film, Cohen travelled to the Middle East where he met one of the alleged leaders of terrorist group Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade in character as Bruno.

In the scene, Bruno calls Al Qaeda ’so 2001′ and talks about being abducted by the Palestinian group to achieve worldwide fame.

Cohen told Letterman that when his team finally found a real terrorist for him to interview, most security firms refused the job of accompanying him to the West Bank, so he wound up with a bodyguard who last protected Enrique Iglesias.

“His main job had been protecting Enrique from flying underwear,” Cohen told Letterman. “I knew, if it came to it, this guy would take a bra for me.”

The famous singer has recently admitted that he is not the raging playboy his father, Julio Iglesias, used to be. Enrique Iglesias: “It was crazy what a hit could do. But I do hide behind my clothes a bit. I am the opposite of a playboy. I couldn’t even pick up girls until I had a hit song. When that happened, in a club in Argentina, I ran my five best friends and said, ‘Get down here, we are all going to get laid.’” Enrique Iglesias definitely proved his point. He’s no playboy… I mean come on, what playboy would say something like that? What real playboy would take advantage of his fame?

Latino pop hunk Enrique Iglesias have been offered a cool $1 million to model for condoms. The Hero Singer joked about the size of his penis recently saying “I’d change the size of my penis if I could. It’s way, way to small. If he says so then we should all believe it and haha his gorgeous girlfriend Anna Kornikova must be embarrassed now about her boyfriend going public about his junk. He must have big cahunas then because the majority of us guys don’t go around admitting that, especially if you’re a celebrity. I’m a nobody and wouldn’t do it for a million to have a poster ad everywhere. Yeah I know.. it’s not the size but what you can do with it, but come on now you know she’s having other affairs. I’ve never met a woman that was interested in someone not at least being average size. I think now that he has gone public with this statement it will fuel more rumors about there being a split between the two. I think Enrique has messes it up this time.
