Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe showed his flirting skills and left a U.S. TV presenter blushing.

The actor, who soon turns 20, got hot host Kelly Ripa’s interest when he started talking about how he was known for going for older women.

"How much older are we talking?" Kelly asked the actor, leaning in close on her show Live With Regis and Kelly.

After a pause, Daniel gave a giant flirty smile as he said: "I should be so lucky, Kelly."

The blushing host then fanned herself with a handkerchief, saying: "Oooh! Oooh! Hot flash!"

Asked if there was an age limit to women he finds hot, Daniel said: "Helen Mirren’s beautiful still – I don’t know how old she is but she’s gorgeous. There’s not a cut-off point."

He admitted age was not the only thing that swayed his judgment when it comes to finding ideal women.

"Somebody who makes me laugh, intelligent a bit – and I like someone who’s slightly mad, slightly eccentric," he said.

The 19-year-old actor won many female fans after his naked role in West End play Equus, as well as playing Harry Potter in the film series.

But he said: “I’m a terrible person to be a sex symbol.”

Daniel added: “I’m no good chatting people up.

“The lust thing generally stops when they meet me because I’m not a particularly sexy person to talk to.

“I have cool taste in music. I think ex-girlfriends have told me that. That’s quite sexy. But they are ex-girlfriends!”

He added: “I like conversation. I’m not good at chit-chat.

“I can’t do pick-up lines.”

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has admitted filming a sex scene is “not in the least bit exciting”.

The 19-year-old actor, famous for playing the lead role in the boy-wizard films, lost his on-screen virginity when he was 16 with co-star Teresa Palmer in the film December Boys.

He said: “Whenever you watch those scenes in films, you always think: ‘That must be so sexy to do and wouldn’t that be amazing. You wonder how those actors manage to control themselves.’”

He added: “But when you’re doing it and you’ve got people watching you, there is nothing sexy about it at all.

“It is not in the least bit exciting, no matter how beautiful the girl is.”
