Chris Brown aged 19 has pleaded not guilty in a Los Angeles court to charges that are being pursued upon him for allegedly hitting his girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards nearly 2 months ago.

Monday was the date for hearing of the charges that prosecutors have levied against the R&B as part of the arraignment in Los Angeles Superior Court where he has been charged of assaulting Rihanna “by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury” additionally threatening a female to commit a crime “which would result in death and great bodily injury.” If the charges are proven then Chris Brown may have to face 4 years of imprisonment. Judge Patricia Schnegg set an April 29 status hearing for Brown.

Gee man this chap is either the luckiest man on earth or the American judicial system needs a real overhaul for allowing a man such Chris Brown to move about as freely as he is. What a coward, whatever, Chris Brown should not have plead guilty cause everyone knows he gave Rihanna the mad beat down. Instead he is hiding behind lawyers and money. COWARD

The famous Naomi Campbell hitting her maid with a mobile instrument has finally reached a settlement. Her former maid had accused the supermodel of throwing a mobile instrument on her face in anger and calling her names.

A settlement has been reached for both the sides but the terms are confidential, it is being said that both sides were happy with the result. Gaby Gibson, the maid who worked for Naomi from November 2005 through January 2006 could not be reached for a comment.

Naomi is definitely a mental case but all this “serving time with her sistas” s*h*i*t? F* off…she didn’t kill anybody, like OJ Simpson or William Shatner (killing their wives). She also was made to do community service a couple of years ago which too was hipped by the media.

But because they earn their money in the millions and pay their recruits/employees in a 4 figure salary doesn’t mean they have bought their services. Treat your employees as you would treat other company bosses. Earn their respect do not demand it.

It’s about time that Amy Winehouse acted responsibly after all her cracked out ways. According to a new report, Wino has dropped her appeal in a Norwegian drug case and will accept a fine for a 2007 illegal marijuana possession charge. Wino and her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil were arrested back in October 2007. They filed appeals in which they claimed Norwegian police officers made mistakes in the arrest. She was recently summoned to face the Norwegian appeals court on January 12th when it was decided soon after that she was going to drop the appeal. No reasons were given for the decision to withdraw though.

Last month, plane crash survivor Travis Barker sued the companies linked to the tragic accident that killed two of his friends and injured him and DJ AM. Earlier this month, Otilia Villar Baker, the widow of one of the deceased from the accident also filed suit. Now, it’s DJ AM’s turn as he claims that as the plane reached takeoff speed, the pilots became aware of one or more of the tires blowing out saying “Rather than proceed to takeoff, they decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff in a negligent manner.” DJ AM is also suing the estates of the two pilots as well as Clay Lacy Aviation, Global Exec Aviation, Inter Travel & Services Inc, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co, and Learjet. He’s suing for “pain and suffering, lost earnings, property damage, past and future medical and health-related expenses, and punitive damages.”

After finally deciding to leave her druggie of a husband Blake, Amy Winehouse reportedly asked her father to assemble a divorce meeting at the hospital where the singer is recovering from a drug binge. Blake isn’t letting go without a fight though as he allegedly yelled at Mitch Winehouse over the phone for supposedly obstructing his relationship with Wino. Fortunately, Blake blew his rehab break which landed him back in jail until 2010. Considering how fast Madonna’s divorce went, it shouldn’t be too long until Wino is free of the leech of a druggie commonly known as Blake Fielder-Civil. You have to wonder if Wino can recover from being a druggie after the divorce though.

The “Alfie” actress Sienna Miller is not only beautiful but she is also rich now.

The stunning and hot star has been awarded with US$22,300 in damages from the two British scandalous newspapers over claims that they breached her privacy.

The beautiful Sienna Miller filed two separate lawsuits against the British newspapers The Sun and the News Of The World over her pictures published in the papers and some articles which appeared in the publications during the summer of 2008.

Reportedly, the newspapers published some photographs of the actress after she started an affair with married oil heir and actor Balthazar Getty, merely days after her breakup with Welsh actor Rhys Ifans.

She is definitely a rich lady – not because of the lawsuits but because of her oil heir boyfriend. Isn’t it so?

The sexy and spicy actress Charlize Theron has recently settled a US$20 million lawsuit against her.

Her ‘crime’ was that she forgot to wear a Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil’s wrist watch in a public appearance and instead sported a Christian Dior watch during a press event in 2006.

The lawsuit was filed in 2007 by Raymond Weil because they had paid a huge amount of money to the hottie to exclusively wear their watches.

What a pity that she had to pay US$20 million for just wearing a watch by mistake!!!

Mini Me Verne Troyer is taking his sex tape co-star Ranae Shrider to court over claims she threw him around – much like his character was in Austin Powers.

The 32-inch-tall US actor has filed a lawsuit in Federal court accusing former girlfriend Ranae of inflicting emotional distress and battery.

Verne – who famously starred as Dr Evil’s tiny evil doppelganger in the Mike Myers films – alleges that Ranae terrorised him with such cruel acts as breaking into his locked bedroom and chucking him onto the floor.

The star’s lawyer Ed McPherson said: “When you pick up a two-foot eight-inch human being and throw him to the floor, it hurts.”

According to court documents leaked to the press, Verne has also named other people in the case, including the lawyer who allegedly attempted to sell his sex tape.

He claims his damages from Ranae’s reign of terror run in excess of $20million.

Jamie Spears temporary authority over Britney Spears affairs was scheduled to end on March 10th. A lot of people started fearing that the fallen pop star might revert to her old ways but fear not. An LA court commissioner has extended Poppa Spears’ rule over his daughter’s estate until July 31st last Wednesday. Hallelujah! The five month extension is a very good thing in my opinion. Britney seems to be doing so much better these days that she’s able to see her kids again. By the time the deadline comes in, there’s a big chance that she’ll be back to the Britney the world fell in love with.

A formal charge has been made in connection with Mischa Barton’s arrest in West Hollywood back in December 2007. She is being charged with possessing 28.5 grams of marijuana, driving under the influence, and driving without a license.

She will be arraigned on February 28 at a Beverly Hills courthouse. She is not required to attend this hearing.

The Sun has really brought a lot of trouble to Amy Winehouse by printing those pictures of her smoking crack. Scotland Yard has started an investigation against the ‘Rehab’ singer on Wednesday. The British authorities are reportedly looking at the video of Wino allegedly smoking crack and snorting cocaine, trying to decide whether to pursue criminal charges against her. Even if they do press charges, she’d probably just get away with a slap on the wrist. Just look at how many chances the UK courts have given perpetual screw up Pete Doherty. He’d get punished hard first before they do Amy.

After all the drama that Britney Spears has pulled, any hopes of her getting her kids back are now even slimmer, probably even gone. The Commissioner has just ruled that the pop wreck will not have visitation restored. At the very least, until the next custody hearing on February 19.

The order came after hearing the testimony of several people including LAPD cops who responded to the “hostage” incident last Thursday, parenting coach Lisa Hacker, bodyguard Lonnie Jones and court monitor Pamela Strong. KFed’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan also testified, most likely against Britney. Heck, everyone’s testimony was likely to be against Brit.

It’s been no secret that KFed’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan is seeking for sanctions regarding Britney Spears not attending her deposition last week. Now, it’s being reported that Kaplan will ask Commissioner Scott Gordon to delay a hearing next month where the pop wreck will ask to restore some of her custody rights. Kaplan is reportedly going to ask if that hearing can be put off until April.

Brit’s lawyer will show up at the hearing this week and oppose Kaplan’s move. But Kaplan has a strong chance of succeeding especially if he points out that Britney was out and about on the night of her supposed deposition.

Just hours after missing a court ordered deposition on Wednesday, Britney was apparently feeling well enough to head out to town with a friend. But she wasn’t as up to taking the friend home with her.Britney and a pal headed out to a gas station in Los Angeles around 2 a.m. Thursday morning. She mugged for some photos, saying, “Stop taking pictures of me. I’m ugly right now.”

Then, she left the gas station – sans her friend. The unidentified female was left with the paparazzi, all the while listening to them say, “Don’t worry, Britney’s coming back.”

She did return eventually. So far, no comments about her actions. Umm, and this girl wants her kids???

After about a year of Mark Vincent Kaplan pushing for Britney Spears to have a deposition and testify under oath, sources are saying that the pop wreck is defying the legal process and has decided not to attend her deposition.

But a source directly in contact with Britney says that “There’s a million people outside her house. She can see all the other madness. The anxiety is making her sick. It’s just too crazy.” That’s not going to be accepted in court!

Britney’s deposition hasn’t been rescheduled as of yet but KFed’s attorney did say that he will be seeking some sort of relief from the court.
