The singer recently released a spoof commercial in which she promotes a perfume for gay people. The fragrance is apparently called “Mo,” and the tagline, delivered by Britney Spears herself at the end of the commercial, is: “One spray and the gays will run your way.” The logo’s producer, Christopher Willey, explained why Britney Spears agreed to make the commercial: “She’s having fun with her gay audience, because she’s an official gay icon at such a young and tender age. She has this natural rapport with the gay community. I think she just really likes her gay fans and she sees this as a way to talk directly to them, which she hasn’t really done before.” Well, well, well… it seems we learn something new every day. I never knew Britney Spears was a gay icon. Well don’t that just beat all!

The singer has recently requested a that a stripper pole be installed in her hotel room in London. A source said the following about Britney Spears’ request: “Britney loves pole dancing, it is her new favorite work out. She gets the toning she needs without having to hit the gym and wants to do it in the privacy of her own hotel room. Keeping fit on tour is very important as her show involves lots of rigorous dance routines, so Britney likes to do her pole dancing workout first thing in the morning.” Yeah, that’s exercise for you these days. Not only does Britney Spears keep fit, but she also practices essential skills necessary for survival in modern society… talk about efficiency.

Three dancers from Britney Spears dance troupe have failed a drug’s test and have been thrown out of the ‘Circus’ tour with immediately effect. Britney Spears kicked off her much hyped and eagerly awaited ‘Circus’ tour last week in New Orleans.

There are 42 dates in all on her current tour and there is a group of dancers who will be a part of each of her shows. According to a source that is close to the functioning of the tour “I think (the fired dancers) just didn’t expect to actually get tested. And drugs are just not okay so they had to go.”

Hey man I think that with Britney’s kids being with her on the tour Britney would like to keep the place clean and free from all sorts of such things and on that note why not do a check on Britney herself cos’ she is no saint either.

Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of the Pussycat Dolls are slated to open for Britney Spears on her Circus tour. The lead Pussycat recently had an interview where she talked about the group’s part on the tour. With regards to the recovered pop singer, Nicole said “I’m looking forward to getting together and having some quiet prayer meetings with Britney.” I somehow doubt that Nicole is the religious type or that she’s going to engage in prayer meetings with Britney. Nicole looks more like the enabling type to me. Here’s to hoping that those feelings aren’t true and that Brit won’t be dragged down again.

Nicole Scherzinger, the superstar singer of the all girls band Pussycat Dolls has some really great ideas which she believes is good enough to help pop diva Britney Spears though her troubles. Nicole is a close friend of Britney and the two will be touring together this year.

The Pussycat Dolls are slated to perform alongside the singer on her upcoming Circus world tour and Nicole hopes that the time that she will have with Britney Spears could be utilized to help make Britney Spears a stronger woman.

She says, “Britney is a good friend of mine. I’m looking forward to getting together and having some quiet prayer meetings with her. And I’ll be there to talk through whatever she is going through. She has been through a tough time and it’s important to get together to pray and meditate.”

Cool if one friend can help the other, I think Britney has more or less recover from her horrible antics now and that is showing in the confidence with which she has been spending time with her kids without any mishaps.

I really cannot forget all the crazy things she repeatedly did last year, she was all over the celebrity gossip headlines banging into other cars and doing all the crazy stuff.

Not only is Britney Spears’ Circus the # 1 album on iTunes today, but the title track is the # 1 single and # 1 requested ringtone too. Britney fever is in the air, and now is the time for fans everywhere to rally together to make her the highest debuting female artist of 2008! Britney Spears is featured on the new issue of Glamour magazine. In the accompanying interview, the recovered singer talked about her resolutions for 2009. She said “I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time. And to learn how to be happier, just in general. I have to learn to take things not so seriously. And to stop biting my nails!” I guess that all comes into some sort of connection. Most worry warts are also nail biters. Most of her resolutions are already taken care of by her dad anyway. I guess we can accept nail biting just fine.

This girl is right now managing to make the news for all the good reasons and that’s why may be this year her birthday does not suck as much or may be not at all as compared to the past couple of years.

If seems that she’s trying to wear something similar to what Scarlett Johansson wore recently. It’s as if she’s so very much happy that her breast are trying jump out of her dress and sing ‘Happy B’day’ Britney Spears.

Not too funny but you have to say that’s what you first realize upon seeing her evening gown. The party was held at Tenjune in downtown Manhattan and also the day when her latest and eagerly anticipated album ‘Circus’ was release.

British paparazzi and one-time boyfriend of Britney Spears, Adnan Ghalib, says that he will sell the sex tape featuring himself and the pop princess if the price is right. The photographer tells Heat magazine “There is such a tape. But I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries. Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further. I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney.” A source tells The Sun that the two hour x-rated footage features Britney naked wearing just a pink wig and was allegedly shot in Mexico, where the pair went together in January.

In a very telling way of how much progress Britney Spears has done, the recovering starlet is reportedly lined up to play a lesbian stripper in Quentin Tarantino’s next movie. She would star as psycho dancer Varla in a remake of the 1965 cult film ‘Faster Pussycat! Kill Kill!’ A source said “Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She’s delighted. She thinks it could turn her career around. It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She’s playing the most important character.” The character doesn’t sound like that big of a stretch from the Britney we knew before her conservatorship so I think she’ll do great. And hey, the story sounds like it’s the farthest from ‘Crossroads’ so it should be good.

Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline has retained ’sole legal and physical custody’ of the couple’s two sons.

The troubled 26-year-old singer – who currently has monitored visitation sessions with Sean Preston, two, and 21-month-old Jayden James, two days a week and one overnight stay – has signed off on a settlement agreeing the custody arrangement.

Kevin’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said Thursday night: “At about 8pm, a final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed. All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner. Kevin is ecstatic and the boys are thriving.”

Britney first lost custody of the children in October. In January, all rights to see them were withdrawn following her alleged mental breakdown.

Subsequent court appearances have seen her visitation time slowly increased. She is now currently under the legal conservator ship of her father Jamie, who has control over her entire estate and financial accounts.

It looks like the last 48 hours have taken their toll on Britney Spears. The singer arrived back at LAX airport this weekend and looked visibly upset as she made her way to her car accompanied by dad Jamie.

Britney and the rest of her family had been in Louisiana to support her younger sister Jamie Lynn, who gave birth to a baby girl last week. She made the dash back to her hometown to see her lilttle sis give birth, before jetting back home with her dad.

But, on arrival at the Los Angeles airport they were confronted by a scrum of photographers. The situation soon turned ugly as a fight almost broke out after the singer’s bodyguard allegedly pushed a camera into one of the snappers’ faces.

Britney appeared to burst into tears, but things soon calmed down and, accompanied by her entourage, she eventually left the airport safely.

A new Britney Spears sex tape is set to be released. The footage allegedly features Britney, 26, stripping off naked apart from a pink wig, and romping with ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

Britney Spears is going on holiday with Mel Gibson. The ‘Toxic’ singer and her father Jamie are heading to Costa Rica with Mel and his wife Robyn.

The quartet will stay at the ‘Braveheart’ actor’s holiday home in the South American country and plan to return next week.

Britney and Jamie were seen boarding a private plane around 9am yesterday. A source said: They’re just going away for a few days to relax.’

Troubled Britney and Mel became friends after the singer was hospitalized in February. They met up several times but their friendship was only made public in mid-March when they were seen dining together in California.

A source at the time revealed: “Mel and his wife Robin clearly saw a woman in crisis and wanted to extend themselves in any way possible. There are no expectations, there is no agenda. It’s simply an act of human kindness – one neighbor reaching out to the other.”

Mel and Britney used to have homes in the same Malibu neighborhood.

It’s ironic that this is the first picture we get to see of Britney Spears reprising her role as Abby, a receptionist at a dermatologist’s office, on the hit CBS comedy ‘How I Met Your Mother’. Wasn’t Neil Patrick Harris the one who said that he’d rather not have her back? In a statement made on Monday Brit said “I had such a great experience the last time I was on the show that I couldn’t wait to come back. I was really looking forward to working with this cast and crew again. Everyone was so nice. Abby is going to have a lot of fun!” The episode featuring the recovering starlet entitled ‘Everything Must Go’ airs on Monday, May 12th.

Producers and stars on the show ‘How I Met Your Mother’ may be keen on Britney Spears’ return to the show but the recovering starlet is turning all Marlon Brando on them. It’s being said that she’s not doing another episode until she approves of the script. Us is reporting that, according to a source, “Nothing is signed yet” and that Brit is still waiting for the right material. “No script has been written and until that is done, Britney will not be making a commitment. The offer is there but no decisions have been made at the moment.” Neil Patrick Harris can rest easy for now.

Britney Spears is really serious about getting back her best physical shape ever as she is reportedly in negotiations with Bally Total Fitness to be a front woman for the company. Additionally, she might be the back woman too! Apparently, Brit’s parents have been talking to Bally about a deal. It all happened because Larry Rudolph, Britney’s once and now returning manager, has a close friendship with John Wildman, the Chief Marketing Officer of Bally. As of now, there’s no deal yet, just negotiations. During which, she has been going to the club at least once a day and up to 3 times a day. It’s said that she’s not getting any money yet but that she’s working out for free.

Britney Spears was the driving force in a minor 3-car accident on Saturday night. But don’t fret that she’s back to her old ways as cops say that she was dead sober when it happened. Officers perform one field sobriety test on the recovering starlet which turned out negative. According to the collision report, Brit drove her 2008 Mercedes into the back of a 2006 Nissan as she drove on the 101 freeway in LA around 8PM PT. The report claims that Britney was caught in stop and go traffic when she “attempted to brake but failed to stop her vehicle.” The Nissan was then “pushed forward into another older model vehicle.”

She’s decided to give him another go. No, Brit isn’t taking K-Fed back. Instead she is bringing back former manager Larry Rudolph.

Britney gave him the boot a while back, accusing him of forcing her to go into rehab. A source close to the former pop princess confirms the story, “It’s true. They are working together.”

Britney and Rudolph worked together back in the day for nine years, only separating around the time Britney and Kevin Federline married. They were back together just after the marriage fell apart.

Rudolph is back, filling the position left by Sam Lufti.
