The Runaways star Dakota Fanning has said her on-screen kiss with Kristen Stewart was “not a big deal”.

The 15-year-old actress takes on the role of Cherie Currie for the new biopic, with Stewart, 19, playing Joan Jett.

Fanning said to Hollyscoop of the pair’s kiss: “It’s not so scandalous. It’s just not a big deal… it’s been kind of blown up a little more. It’s just a thing that happens among friends.”

Fanning added that she was impressed with Stewart and wants to work with her again.

Fanning, who also appeared with Stewart in New Moon, said: “She’s definitely one of my best friends. It’s great to get to do a few films with her and definitely more in the future.”

Avatar actor Sam Worthington said it wasn’t hard working with actress Zoe Saldana every day on the flick.

Worthington, 33, played the lead role of Jake Sully in the flick, while Zaldana, 31, played his love interest Neytiri.

Asked about having to kiss Saldana, he said: “Now, that was hard, because she’s so ugly!”

He added: “But when you’re working with someone like Zoe, it’s really not that hard, man. I’d kiss her every day.”

Some of Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler’s photos for a new W magazine shoot were reportedly considered ‘too explicit’ to publish.

The actress, who recently jetted in to the UK for the London premiere of new movie The Bounty Hunter, stars on the cover of US magazine W with her movie co-star Butler.

However, a source told UK newspaper the Daily Mirror: “Jen and Gerard really enjoyed the shoot. They got very stuck in, and were keen to experiment with a variety of different poses and props.

“In fact, a few of the scenes and outfits were so daring, they decided they were too explicit for a family magazine and they were cut from the final edition.”

Chloe Sevigny’s sex drive surged to new heights when she took up yoga.

Sevigny said: “I’ve just started doing yoga three times a week. I feel strong and limber, and my sex drive is through the roof!”

The 35-year-old Big Love star and indie film actress is single and on the hunt for a dating partner. She split with longtime boyfriend Matt McAuley last year.

But while she is constantly on the lookout, she has not lost sight of her independence. She told UK Elle: “I’m really happy. Getting older doesn’t bother me at all. Well, other than the baby pressure. I do want to have a baby. For some reason all of my friends are obsessing over the boy situations in their lives. I was out to dinner with three strong, capable, intelligent young women the other night and all they could talk about was men. I was like, ‘If you don’t change the topic in the next five minutes, I’m leaving’. My life is not going to revolve around any guy. But there is something to be said about all these beautiful women and no men around. Where are they?”

Oscar-winning actress Mo’Nique revealed she had a major wardrobe malfunction just hours before the ceremony.

The star, who picked up the Best Supporting Actress gong for her role in Precious, revealed to E! that just before the start of the 82nd Academy Awards she had a fashion disaster.

The actress said: “I had a wardrobe malfunction! It happened while I was getting dressed.”

Mo’Nique wouldn’t go in to details but laughed about the incident, which saw her change into the blue Tadashi Shoji dress.

She said: “We just chuckled and were like: ‘We got to find something new.’ I’m just so thankful and appreciative. This covers everything up in all the right places.”

Reports that Abbie Cornish dumped actor Ryan Phillippe were turned on their head by Phillippe.

The former husband of Reese Witherspoon, who had been living with the Australian star of Bright Star in Los Angeles, had his reps saying he ended it – not she.

The he-said, she-said emerged in reports in Australia today. Phillippe’s publicist was reported by the AAP claiming the actor ended the relationship weeks ago. “Ryan ended the relationship with Abbie while she was in Australia, which was before New York Fashion Week, and asked her to move out of his house, which she did this weekend,” Phillippe’s representative said.

The actor’s appearance at Fashion Week was noted by observers and raised eyebrows. The spokesperson said: “She was out of town working for seven months and they grew apart.”

Earlier reports had the actor’s philandering ways blamed for the split. “Abbie ended it and moved out,” the Daily Telegraph reports Cornish’s rep underlining. The pair had been together for four years.

Drew Barrymore, 34, had her car dinged by a photographer, according to a US report.

Entertainment site RadarOnline reported the actress and talented director was in a car accident with a paparazzo.

Barrymore was in her vehicle and driving away from the Byron Tracy Hair Salon in Beverly Hills when the photographer hit her from behind, according to Radar.

Barrymore, witnesses said, got out of her car and was extremely upset and screamed at the photographer.

The pair got into an argument, with each blaming the other for the incident. She later drove away from the scene bound for home, according to Radar.

Twilight star Ashley Greene wears nothing but body paint in a new sexy ad campaign.

Artists spent 12 hours painting a bikini onto Greene’s body for a photo-shoot for soft drink SoBe Lifewater.

The advert can be seen in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which hits newsstands on 9 February.

Kristen Stewart said she was left bruised all over after learning to pole-dance for new movie Welcome to the Rileys.

Stewart, 17, who is best known for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight movies, plays the role of a 16-year-old stripper in the new flick who is taken in by a married man, who is played by James Gandolfini.

Rumoured couple Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth reportedly stayed away from each other during an after-party for the Golden Globes.

Skarsgard, 33, left the party with Straw Dogs co-star Bosworth, 27, but a source claims the pair hardly spent any time together during the bash.

A source inside the party said: “They didn’t interact at all.

“They arrived around the same time, and after he went inside the party, Kate was pretty quick to follow.

A source told the website Parker may go further than endorsement to take an executive title with Halston, such as creative director and design director.

Matthew McConaughey is proud to have made a baby girl, according to his brother.

McConaughey, 40, and Camila Alves announced the weekend birth of Vida and are doing fine, said Rooster McConaughey.

“He called me on Sunday afternoon and said, ‘I made a little baby girl’. He’s all proud. He’s got it going on now,” Rooster said. Matthew and Alves have an 18-month-old son, Levi.

Rooster, the father of a son and a daughter, also reported telling Matthew to “quit copying me. You’re paralleling me. Hell, we’ve got so many McConaughey girls now, we’re all gonna have to learn volleyball and cheerleading.”

He humorously noted his brother did not follow in his choice of baby names. “I think I ruined it for him because I’ve already taken up that territory [alcohol-related names]. I named my [3½-year-old] boy Miller Lyte because that’s my favourite beer. And my [11-month-old] little girl is named Margarita Olympia. I liked that beer, too, even though they don’t even make it anymore.”

The former police chief who broke into the apartment of Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker’s surrogate has been given jail time.

According to reports, Barry Carpenter was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison after being convicted last month of receiving stolen property, evidence tampering and theft in office. He was acquitted of the burglary charge.

Carpenter resigned two weeks ago as chief in Martins Ferry, where the celebrity couple’s surrogate lived.

Prosecutors said that he broke into Michelle Ross’s home in May, took items related to her pregnancy and the surrogacy, and conspired with police chief Chad Dojack of neighbouring Bridgeport to sell the items to celebrity photographers.

Carpenter’s attorney Dennis McNamara has vowed to appeal against the sentence.

Renee Zellweger was radiating joy and Christmas spirit in recent days as she hosted Bradley Cooper’s parents in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old actress revealed the money-saving technique used in a video by American singer Har Mar Superstar.

Mendes is the latest celebrity to appear in a video teaser ahead of Har Mar Superstar’s fourth album release.

The slow-motion video shows the film star’s face, hair and eyelashes being pushed around in a strong gust of wind.

“Basically, this video was shot for no money,” she told Lopez on his chat show.

“When you have no money – as a lot of us know – you’ve got to get creative.

“To get this cool special effect we basically used a leaf blower.”
