Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio has donated $1million to Haiti relief.

DiCaprio’s generous gift will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund that is targeting victims of a devastating quake that has left up to 100,000 dead.

The Leonardo DiCaprio Fund will distribute the funds to support near-term assistance and long-term recovery efforts.

Former President George W Bush said: “I salute Leonardo DiCaprio for his extraordinary generosity. This donation sends a clear message to the people of Haiti that America’s commitment to helping rebuild their country is strong. I thank Leo for setting a wonderful example for all Americans of helping a neighbour in need.”

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp are hoping to keep a ‘low profile’ while shooting new movie The Tourist in Venice.

The Hollywood stars will arrive in the Italian city next month to film with director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck and producer Graham King.

King said he wanted disruption to residents kept to a minimum during shooting but it could prove difficult.

He told UK newspaper the Daily Mail: “We’re going to try to keep a low profile, but that might be difficult with two of the world’s biggest stars making a film together.

Hollywood actress Lucy Liu is following Lindsay Lohan’s footsteps and heading to India to highlight child trafficking.

Liu, 41, best known for films such as Charlie’s Angels and Kill Bill, will soon be flying out to India to make a film about the important issue.

The film will see Liu making her directorial debut and will be set in Mumbai and feature Tannishtha Chatterjee, who appeared in the movie adaptation of book Brick Lane.

Tiger Woods has been placed under a sex ban.

The pro-golfer, reeling from the disgrace of a sex scandal, is undergoing so-called sex addiction rehab at a clinic in Mississippi that runs for six weeks. He earlier announced his golf hiatus.

The 18-week sex ban was reported by the UK Sun newspaper.

A former patient of the clinic said: “You can’t have sex and can’t get excited. That continues for 90 days after you are discharged.”

Woods will also be required to sign a celibacy contract and write an empathy letter to his wife, Elin Nordegren, 30. She was widely reported to be planning to leave Woods in the New Year but so far she has not left their Orlando gated residence.
