The Girls Aloud singer will be undergoing a painful process involving laser surgery in order to have a tattoo of hers removed because she believes it no longer suits her image. A source said the following about Cheryl Cole’s decision to get rid of her tattoo: “Cheryl feels like she has outgrown the tattoo and is worried it no longer fits with her image.” And guess what Cheryl Cole is going to do in order to solidify her new image: get another tattoo that fits this new image better than the old one. And then the process can repeat itself again and again until the end of time.

The singer and his estranged wife are now engaged in what military terms might designate as being open war. After being slandered, Peter Andre is gathering up his forces in order to see how he can strike back, as a source relates: “He is fuming about what’s been said. He’s going to meet his people to see what can be done. As far as he’s concerned, it’s a new low, getting pals to take sides and make vicious slurs.” So this is the part of the whole mess that’s actually going to be entertaining, right? And after that there’s the divorce and then things between Peter Andre and Katie Price should get back to… well, quiet.

The LA County Coroner’s office has gone back to Michael Jackson’s home to retrieve his medications, based on information turned up by the LAPD. The Coroner’s staff left the house with two large plastic bags though they would not say what types of medicine were retrieved from the late singer’s home. The LAPD has said to have retrieved several prescription bottles from the house but the plastic bags by no means were filled with pills. It is increasingly looking like the King of Pop died from a drug overdose, possibly a combination of several drugs that he was prescribed and had gotten addicted to.

Michael Jackson’s father has revealed the family have not yet planned the pop star’s funeral – but that they do want the public involved.

In a bizarre press conference outside the Jackson family home in Los Angeles, Joe Jackson was accompanied by the Reverend Al Sharpton.

The press conference was expected to be held to announce details of Jacko’s funeral or memorial service.

But it began with Rev Sharpton defending Joe Jackson’s appearance at the BET Awards just three days after his son passed away.

Joe continued talking about his record company after Sharpton’s introduction, rambling about Miraz Records before finally turning the talk to his famous son.

Wearing a black shirt and hat, Joe Jackson said: “Hello everybody, I’m here to witness, something that we want you to know.

“I was asked a question last night about the record company, well what I am doing is, I established a record company with Marshall and that company is called Miraz Record.

So we have a lot of good artists to come out. I was asked that question and I answered like it was, but they wanted to know what else I was doing.”

Twilight star Peter Facinelli has denied claiming he was “Team Jacob” on his Twitter page.

Peter, 35, plays vampire elder Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the vampire flick and he recently replied to someone else’s post on the page where they said they were “Team Jacob”.

However, fans got confused by his “retweet” and thought the actor was saying he was on the side of the werewolves and Jacob Black.

But the actor insisted he is on the side of the vampire clan and his on-screen adoptive son, Edward Cullen.

Peter later posted a message that said: “There’s been some confusion.

“The Team Jacob was a RT-retweet from someone else. I am and always will be Team Edward. Sorry. I know, Nepotism.”

Cindy Margolis and Guy Starkman have filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

Margolis, a Playboy covergirl, model and TV hostess, and Starkman, who owns Jerry’s Famous Deli, have three children. They have requested joint custody of Nicholas, 7, and three-year-old twins Sierra and Sabrina. The divorce petition was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on June 23.

The couple reportedly met on a blind date and have been married for nine years.

Margolis, 43, first drew attention to herself when she released her own range of greeting cards, featuring her wearing lingerie. A highly successful modelling career followed. She has had a late-night Saturday talk show, appeared in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, and has begun production on reality-TV dating show Sex and the Cindy.

Margolis was Yahoo Internet Life magazine’s “Queen of the Internet” from 1996-1999. According to imdb.com, she has been downloaded worldwide more than 58 million times and is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records (2000).

Vanessa Minnillo, 28, cozied up to Topher Grace at a party at animator Seth MacFarlane’s, according to a US report.

Grace, the 30-year-old star of Spider-Man 3, whispered in the TV host turned actress’s ear, stroked her arm and got her phone number, it was reported.

The event was billed the party of the season and held in an outdoor casino with an orchestra.

While dancing, Minnillo kissed Grace’s neck. The pair shook up the dance floor with some dirty dancing. Minnillo took off her shoes and held them in one hand while wrapping her other arm around Grace’s neck.

About 1.30am on Sunday, the pair left the party together.

Grace played of Venom, aka Eddie Brock, and is set to star in the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

Minnillo in recent days announced her break-up with Nich Lachey, 35.

Another Miley Cyrus photo controversy making the rounds on the internet. The Hannah Montana star was fooling around in her dressing room on the set of her new movie and someone documented the pictures. Producer/director Adam Shankman took to his Twitter and posted the pictures and then got surprised when it was deemed controversial. He wrote “Miley Cyrus is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She’s like my angel little sister.” When your sweet little sister mounts a chair, gives provocative face and you feel the need to show it to the world, it’s going to raise some eyebrows.

A desperate man told an emergency responder Michael Jackson was unconscious and had stopped breathing in a dramatic 911 call made from the King of Pop’s home.

The unidentified caller told the operator Jackson’s personal doctor – named in reports as Dr Conrad Murray – was on the scene and was the only witness to the incident.

In the tape, released a day after Jackson’s death, the man says: “I need an ambulance as soon as possible. We have a gentleman here who needs help and who is not breathing and we’re trying to pump him but he’s not…

In the call, made at 12.21pm local time on Wednesday, he tells the operator: “Yes, he’s not breathing sir.”

Asked if Jackson was conscious, he replies: “No, he’s not conscious.”

He says Jackson is on a bed and is told to put him on the floor for CPR.

The man says: “We have a personal doctor here with him.”

But he adds: “He’s not responding to anything. He’s not responding to CPR or anything.”

The operator asks if anyone saw what happened to Jackson and the man replies: “No, just the doctor. The doctor’s been the only one here.”

The operator asks: “OK, so did the doctor see what happened?”

The man is then heard asking the doctor: “Did you see what happened?”

There is some background noise before the man urges the operator: “Sir, please, if you can please….”

He tells the operator: “He’s pumping, pumping his chest but he’s not responding to anything.”

The operator reassures him: “OK, we’re on our way.”

Michael Jackson’s family lawyer says the performer’s reliance on painkillers had become “life threatening”.

Brian Oxman fears the medication may have contributed to the 50-year-old’s death from a suspected heart attack.

The lawyer said: “I don’t know if they are the cause here. I will reserve my conclusions until the toxicology reports and the coroner has made his report before I make any accusations. But I can tell you that if it is as I fear I will not be silent.

“I have been very, very critical of the use of pain medications. I have told people in no uncertain terms that if Michael one day woke up and he was dead I would not be silent, I would not permit this to go unchallenged.

“Michael had fallen from a stage several years ago. He cracked a vertebrae in his back. He also broke his leg and it’s caused him a lot of pain. The result of that is he has taken a lot of pain medications. They’ve been to treat actual pains he’s had, but the use of these medications I felt had become life threatening.”

Katie, 31, met Matt Moffatt while she was partying in Ibiza recently and it is claimed he “couldn’t believe his luck” with the star’s proposal.

He said he went looking for the star when he heard she was partying in a club’s VIP area. But her new man Anthony Lowther, 28, reportedly wasn’t impressed with their flirting.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will rent a sprawling country estate in New York owned by Rupert Murdoch, it was reported.

The Rosehearty estate is located on Centre Island, and has been put back on the market for $12.8 million by Murdoch and his wife Wendi Deng.

Pitt and Jolie are lined up to rent the property for more than $100,000 per month in summer while their own property Sassafras, the 40-acre estate they own in Lloyd Harbor, undergoes renovations. While the move was first reported in April, it was confirmed this month.

Rosehearty is a traditional Federal-style family home built in 1885 that has 11 bedrooms and sits on a sunny incline. Its lawns roll down into Oyster Bay Harbor.

Numerous sightings of the couple were reported around the area earlier this year. But Centre Island Mayor Jack Williams instilled calm into the frenzy. “I haven’t seen them and as far as I know none of our police officers have seen them.”

An “overzealous fan” has been ordered to attend an anti-stalking school after being convicted of harassing Tyra Banks.

New York Judge James Burke sentenced Brady Green, 39, to one-year probation for his hounding of the model turned talk-show host.

Green was ordered to stay away from Banks for two years and to attend a stalking-modification program at John Jay College called Project SHARP – short for Stopping Harassment and Relationship Problems.

The Georgia man thought he had a relationship with the outspoken model, and he tried to track her down in January 2008 with repeated phone calls to her show’s offices.

He later got the address and was arrested inside the studio, where he had sneaked in after twice being told to leave.

He was convicted of stalking earlier this year, with Banks as the star witness.

Katie Price has defended her behaviour in Ibiza and claimed she’s a “young woman” and she’s “going through a split”.

The 31-year-old has recently been seen partying in Ibiza and posing for her new calendar. It was revealed last month that Katie and husband Peter Andre, 36, were splitting after three and a half years of marriage.

She has now said: “I’ve had a great time in Ibiza and people can slate me all they like – I work hard, I’m a good mum, I’m a young woman and I’m going through a split.

“There’s nothing wrong with going away and having a good time for a week after all I’ve been through. And I bet you there are loads of women around the country who would do exactly the same thing.”

The mum-of-three, whose children are in Cyprus with Peter, also said she is currently filming her own reality show – without her estranged husband.

She said: “I’ve been doing a shoot for my calendar and filming my new reality show – it will be the same as the ITV2 one I did with Pete but you will see a happier side of me.

“It will be me working and going about my life and will be out in September. I don’t know anything about whether Pete’s going to do one as he’s his person – it’s nothing to do with me.”

Josh Duhamel says that he uses the stripper pole in his house more than his wife Fergie does.

The couple received the pole as a wedding present but, despite regularly dancing on stage, the actor says his wife has given toy a wide berth.

“You want to know the truth? I’ve played on the pole more than she has,” says the 36-year-old who thinks the “a**” is the hottest part of a woman’s body.

“If you know my wife, she’s a perfectionist and won’t get on until she’s good, so she wants to take a class first. So the pole is really just decorative at this point.”

But Duhamel – who has only been married to Fergie for six months – says they manage to spice up their love life without using the pole.

“As for keeping things spicy,” he says, “I have to quote Kevin Bacon: ‘Keep the fights clean and the sex dirty’.”

The actor says that being married has changed his relationship with the 34-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer. “It just feels more chill now because there’s less pressure,” he says.

“We’ve done it, we’re together, we’re happy…and it’s a great feeling. Everything I do now involves [Fergie] and I love that.

“Sometimes it amazes me that she chose me.”

The rock band whose guitarist, Jamie Hince, had such a rough argument with his girlfriend, Kate Moss, that she threw his laptop into a pool where he had six of the band’s new tracks that weren’t saved anywhere else. A source related the incident: “Kate and Jamie started bickering out of nowhere and the row quickly escalated. She stalked off outside and, before he had a chance to react, Kate grabbed his bag and threw it into the pool. Unfortunately it contained his laptop, Blackberry and personal diary. Jamie was speechless. He waded into the water to take the bag out, and tried to save the laptop – removing the hard drive and putting it into an airing cupboard.” The fans are probably going to really hate Kate Moss for this one. Talk about a nether region hit… this one was really, really low!

The actress who broke up from the singer some time ago has apparently been sending him little good luck notes before concerts. And even more than this, the notes were perfumed. A source related the following Jennifer Aniston’s new little hobby: “Jennifer sent John a hand-delivered perfumed note before one of his concerts recently. It read, ‘Play well, you always do’. It was sweet. Clearly she doesn’t want to let go completely.” More so, it seems that John Mayer has apparently not showed any interest in women after he broke up from Jennifer Aniston… but how could he? He’s too busy using twitter every goddamned moment of the day! It wouldn’t be much of a surprise if it were the women that show no more interest in John Mayer.

The famous pop singer who’s apparently still the biggest lawsuit well of the decade… and still going hot now that he has some prospects for income, apparently had no idea about a lawsuit from his former publicist Raymone Bain. She sued Michael Jackson for fourty-four million dollars and got a default judgement because of the lack of legal repsonse by Michael Jackson, but now the singer is saying he had no idea about the fact that he was being sued so he’s trying to get the judgement cancelled. This would be a good lesson for Michael Jackson to google himself from time to time and avoid surprises like this one.

It seems that the estranged wife of singer Peter Andre who’s “enjoying” a vacation at Ibiza is starting to feel the disadvantages of being single again. Katie Price supposedly said the following to friends: “I’m randy. I need a shag, it’s driving me mad.” This must be Peter Andre’s cue… or not. But anyway, how come Katie Price is complaining? After all, she’s a drunken and beautiful glamour model in one of the most depraved… erm, liberal places for having fun in the world. How hard can it be for her to find somebody for a quick and easy lay?
