While shooting for the new sequel Crank actress Amy Smart insisted that the stripping poles be sanitized. And you should know that Amy Smart has taken up professional pole dancing.

This is what the actress had to say about the stripper poles: “She is sexually liberated and has taken up pole dancing professionally, which she finds empowering… We shot in seedy, nasty clubs in East Los Angeles, and I made sure they sanitized that pole before I did my moves.”

“Sanitized” stripper poles, huh Amy? Is that akin to “clean” junkie needles or “user friendly” machetes? Means are stripper poles in Los Angeles not clean are the fungus ridden or something that some of it will automatically enter her body while dancing over and round the pole sounds a bit crazy to me but then stars have always demanded silly things and that’s why they are stars.

The actress recently described her sex scenes from the movie “Duplicity” as being hideous. Julia Roberts related: “It comes in handy when you know somebody well, because you can just look at each other and say, ‘Isn’t this incredible uncomfortable?’ And then there’ll be my son, Henry, on set, just looking from the corner. It’s pretty hideous actually!” Well, hideous or not, it seems that Julia Roberts did manage to pull it off. Still, you have to wonder how well the family members actually cope with this kind of stuff. Take Julia Roberts’ husband for instance, who was supposedly on set, how well did he react to the aforementioned scenes? Of course he did have to hold Henry so his hands were busy.
