DiCaprio says paparazzi are ‘dangerous’

Actor Leonardo Dicaprio has said that he is convinced that the paparazzi are “disrespectful and dangerous” and has vowed that he will boycott them.
Making a statement like takes some guts cos you can’t bash up a whole community on whom entire Hollywood survives for their own celebrity status and then to top it he says he will boycott them means he’s virtually enemies with them right now.
Too bad fame comes with people wanting to take your picture…There is no law saying you have to smile for the little ratty papperoni…You aren’t the first one to try to dodge the scumbags. But hey man you didn’t need to blow your mouth open to clarify your stand. You’ve made a statement and its in the press so I hope to understand that how ever big a star you are you always need a forum to say what you feel and to get heard.
He says, “Actually I’m not in the tabloids anymore. I am sometimes, but I’ve watched the culture change. I’m old hat. And I love it. You know what it is with me? This is something I’d like to clarify. I’ve heard people say, ‘Because you hide, it makes you seem ungrateful.”
