That’s a title which I think is always better when referred to with George Clooney. But just ahead of the release of his epic movie “Australia” People’s Magazine have named Hugh Jackman as the Sexiest Man Alive for 2008.

The “X-Men” hunk has reportedly said that he is honored to receive the title, but his wife Deborra-Lee Furness isn’t surprised at all that her hubby received such a title.

Jackman told People, “[She said] ‘I could’ve told them that years ago!’ And then she said, ‘Obviously, Brad wasn’t available this year.’ And I said, ‘That was a joke, right?’” Well she was surely kidding, it’s been 12 years now to their marriage and hopefully it remains that way for another 120 years.

And Hugh had some great things to say about his wife as well, he said “In my early 20s, I didn’t have a regular girlfriend. I was single and really happy about it. And then when I was 26, I met Deb on [the Australian TV show] Correlli. She was my leading lady. It was just undeniable. I started planning to propose to her at about three months. We are happy. Deb and my kids have been the best things that have ever happened to me, without a doubt.”

In a recent open letter she wrote to newly elected president Barack Obama, Pamela Anderson stated her suggestions on improving America. Here’s one of them: “I think we should legalize marijuana, tax and monitor – farm hemp etc. This would make our borders less corrupt and then I think eventually this will be a more secure option and save children in the long run – we should be able to farm hemp in America – it’s just silly.” It would certainly give a boost to the economy… not to mention air pollution, but I really can’t see how it would help children… what, are they going to be allowed to smoke pot to forget about their problems? Also in the letter she suggests that child molesters and those who produce or own child pornography should be castrated as punishment for their crimes… and all this coming from a porn star…

The latest James Bond Daniel Craig has decided to move from the sci-fi hero list to the historical epic crowd.

Reportedly Mr. Daniel Craig is all set to leave his gun aside and pick up the swords.

The present day James Bond has been topped to take on the leading role of legendary British king “William The Conqueror” in a latest film.

The actor is carrying out negotiations with the movie makers to play the title role in the US$39.25 million dollars.

A movie spokesperson Pamela Koffler told the press, “A lot of people in America might not have heard of William or 1066, but believe me, this project has got all the ingredients of a hit movie”.

Craig will make a strong and sexy king!!!
