A new video has surfaced featuring Akon and his girl-smacking concert in Guyana. The singer’s people claim that the footage tells a much different story that the shorter, edited version that’s been heating up the blogs recently. The longer version shows what happens directly after Akon nails two women who got too close to the singer. If you’ve seen the shorter version, you know that it cuts off right after the whacking. I’m not sure if it completely vindicates the guy but you can check out the new video and judge for yourself. I doubt hitting a woman can be forgiven easily though.

Jordin Sparks was at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards to present an award but did so much more than that. The 18-year old American Idol champ spoke out against host Russell Brand for making jokes about the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings. She told the crowd “I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut.” Way to stand up for others! Some people just don’t know what’s alright to joke about and what needs to be taken seriously.

She also thought that the ceremony was having “Too much sex”. She expressed her views as, “I think that there was a little too much sex being talked about instead of music. But I think Russell Brand is a great comedian and he’s funny. I think that the Jonas Brothers are the most professional people in the music industry — they laugh at themselves and know how to have fun regardless of whether they are being picked on throughout the entire show.”

Scarlett Johansson is the latest addition in the list of pain-in-the-ass celebrities who got the fame to their heads.

The “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” actress, who has topped many sexiest women lists, was recently declared “The Biggest Prima Donna” in the industry, by a group of producers during their private talk.

According to an insider, the producers also “raved about working with her on “Match Point”, when everyone said she was a sweetheart…. Now they say, “Scarlett’s let it get to her head.”

Johansson’s rep has however denied the allegations and said, “Scarlett loves the movie and enjoyed working with everyone on it.”

The sexy actress Scarlett Johansson, 23, is so beautiful and sexy that she is allowed to take it to the uppermost part of her body and no producer has any right to complain.
