Batter up! Carrie Underwood wields a bat at the 2008 City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge which was presented by the Gibson Foundation in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday. The 25-year old singer was the lead-off batter for the Grand Ole Opry Live team at Nashville’s Greer Stadium and got a walk in the first inning. Unfortunately, Carrie’s team lost 8-1 behind the pitching of Jo Dee Messina who was very dominant in the game. Too bad Carrie didn’t get the chance to hit one out of the park. Singer Sara Evans was also in attendance for the game. I’m not sure if she played though.

Jason Mraz posted several pictures on his MySpace, showing off his body in his bikini briefs. The 30-year old singer/songwriter also posted a blog to accompany his pictures. He talked about his diet, being healthy, making his own meals, what’s in his fridge and how he maintains it all. If you want an idea of just how healthy he stays, here are the contents of his fridge: “Super Greens, Hemp Protein, Goji Juice, Coconut Water, Flax Seed Oil, My own homemade cashew milk, Raw Cacao, Bee pollen, sometimes a banana, a little crushed ice, toad knuckles, agave nectar, Stevia, and/or Natural Vaginal Juices to sweeten to your liking.” That last one is a joke right?
