What is with hip hop and R&B singers getting arrested left and right?
R&B singer Trey Songz was arrested in Springfield, Mass. late Saturday night. He and several members of his posse reportedly got ‘combative’ with some police officers.
The cops booked Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Sources at the Springfield PD say that they were investigating a shot fired in the parking lot after the Songz show when the singer tried to butt in on the crime scene investigation. When he was asked by the police to stay out of it, Songz responded with “Don’t you know who I am?”
They know. You’re the guy they’re arresting.
